Is this map worth the extra money? Compared to the other similar scratch maps it's a little more expensive.

These maps are manufactured in Europe and their attention to details is significantly better than anything else I've seen: both in design and in the materials used. It is totally worth even more than it's priced at. Hope this helps.

How detailed is the indonesia/southern asia area? are singapore, bali, malaysia, hong kong and macau labeled?

Yes, everything you mentioned is labelled properly. You will see a lot more cartographic details after scratching off. For example, Macau is not visible until you scratch-off the area where it is located. On Bali we have marked only Denpasar. Please be sure: we aimed to achieve the balance between the utmost details and keeping the travel map design minimalist and clean. Our customers compliment the design due to the fact that the most popular world destinations/most visited cities are labelled on the map but only the capitals are labelled on the gold scratchable layer. That way, if you've visited a certain place, you will scratch it off and only then you will see the details hidden underneath. At the same time, the unscratched areas will remain clean and shiny.
