New Wayzon Mini White Composite HDMI to AV 3RCA CVBS Video Converter Adapter 480P White

Works like expected, I bought it so i could watch movies from my laptop. It took a little while to figure out. Setup was easy enough but if your resolution,bit rate and hertz setting aren't right, you'll get a distorted picture or maybe a rolling picture. On one setting i even got my desktop to show up but it was a split screen showing nine desktop images, like a tic tac toe set up...anyway, now it works great and we watch movies from my laptop.

It works. Connected a 15" Mac Book (the one with HDMI output and no DVD or wired internet) to a Sony 32" flat screen. I've used it for stream Netflix as well as a large monitor. The Sony TV has an amazing picture on it's own, but the picture produced with the adapter has poor coloration. There was some kind of color banding such that gradients looked more like stripes. Things were a bit fuzzy too. I had to use the headphone jack as the sound output.

Originally purchased for son's gaming TV, which was an older TV. He needed it for his XBOX One. He got it a new TV, now I use it to attach an Amazon Fire Stick to an older large screen TV. It doe not come with the yellow, red, white cords- so you will need to purchase those too.

Finally got it to work after some trial and error. I bought this for an Ambilight clone project. Two things to watch out for... my source signal is NTSC_M (I believe is a U.S. standard), but it wouldn't work until the switch was in the PAL position (backwards?). Also, I had it plugged into my USB connector in the back of my TV to use for power. The picture came out black & white. I eventually plugged it into a powered USB hub and the color worked.

Needs to be plugged into a USB port to receive power. Does come with a USB cord, but it is very short, maybe 8-12" long. If a USB port is not easily available, you may need to buy a plug-in USB port adapter for a regular power outlet.

The product does the job but there is a LOT of picture quality lost if you dont buy the best hdmi cables. Even with excellent gold plated monster brand cables the picture comes in clear but it is a little grainy. Overall for the price it gets the job done. I have an old school tv and a smart samsung blu ray player that i used it for.

It worked on one TV but not on another. I can't really blame the device for that, but I don't understand enough to blame the device. I only rank it 4 stars because I had to try on a second TV to validate it worked as expected.

I used this product to connect my laptop with this really old 45'' Sony TV. I knew the quality would not be good in general, but I did not think it would take so much time to figure out how to project it on the screen. There was just a lot of lag time, so everything worked. Quality is as I expected, which was OK.
