If you want to buy it, is not a bad deal.
So, I'll be honest here. I'm surprised by this phone. For me on a phone, doesn't matter what trademark is, as long as it versatile is good to go. I mean now, all the phones on the market are on that trend but having a micro SD card is a game changer, at least for me. I mean I bought the max this phone can handle and isdoing pretty good. Battery is something even I was surprised. If you are someone who use the phone in a medium use it can last, even for me who I really test phones to see how they manage to keep up with the task I'm doing on it. This one is a keeper. Durable, good memory, the android on this is good, movest fast. Is pretty good for gaming too, it can get warm but probably if you can get a cooler for a mobile you can solve that issue, if you really want to play long hours. Overall is a good buy, is a bit heavy but honestly I don't mind, it has a good feeling in the hand and it does what you want to do with it. Good camera, decent photos and my favourite it the night vision camera. I took some photos with it up close and pretty good results. I mean, is not a phone for photography but is still good. I'll write more maybe after I will test in some other areas, like writing, editing stuff on him or playing more games on it. Until than, if you want to give it a try, you can. At least I'm pleased withy purchase and a bit surprised by it because I didn't think will be this ok.

Excellent Phone
First thing first, the phone is heavy. However, for that you get a phone that has amazing battery life and ultra protection. Performance is really good although I have added a Niagara Launcher to enhance this. Camera is excellent. I will never be able to fill the 500gb ROM. All in all really pleased with this phone and the price!

Brilliant peice of equiptment, but heavy!
Built like a tank! lovely screen powerful and quick and built to last. I've had a Samsung for the last ten years but the prices now are ridicules! so I decided to go for something different, BUT if your going to carry this monster around you need well stitched pockets or a belt holster. That said it sits in your hand very comfortably and I would definately buy another. Update I've had one charge last for seven day's so far!, hooray for heavy batteries. :))

Very pleased with product
Heavy & approx 20mm thick but it is a rugged phone so built to withstand various working environments. It’s operating system works fine & offers good value for money about 3 times cheaper than a iPhone.

Not what I would call a mid range phone.
The screen is good, the battery is good, the operating of the phone and the apps and things that are on it are good. It's quite chunky does feel quite robust. But I wouldn't say it's any better than a really sturdy tough case. The thing that really lets it down is the camera. Although it says it has a 200 megapixel rear camera, it's of average quality for a fairly recent phone. The front facing camera really struggles in artificial light. The rear camera is ok in good light the zoom isn't the best. I ended up returning the phone due to the camera being average, I just wasn't happy with the picture quality for what is a relatively expensive phone. You would be better off buying an older Google pixel phone. I imagine it is good for gaming. The rear screen is pretty much pointless.

Rear glass flaw
I have this phone for about 6 months now. I had a positive experience with doogee v30, before. My main thing with the v30 was that the battery would last 2-3 days and the screen just would refuse to break. The v40, is similar but has one major flaw. It has this rear glass covering the cameras that is not specced to the same toughness as the main screen. Guess what... The main screen is pristine and that rear glass is totally shattered. Also the battery lasts about 30% less than the v30 although it's still pretty good. I would also have preferred slightly slimmer and lighter. Not a lot just 10% improvement would make a difference.

Solid phone with great durability
I've been using this phone for quite some time now, and it’s robustly constructed while still being comfortable to hold. The sturdy design suits me perfectly, I have an energetic three-year-old who enjoys grabbing anything within reach, and this phone has already endured a few drops without issue. The waterproof feature came in very handy when I accidentally left it on the kitchen counter while my daughter was conducting some water-based science experiments. There were no problems whatsoever! The camera performs brilliantly, particularly the night vision and macro modes. I was able to capture some stunning close-up images of a craft project I was completing for school. The generous storage capacity is another significant advantage, I’ve packed it with photos, apps, and even videos for my children to watch when we’re out and about, and there’s still ample space left. While it is a bit heavier than other phones I’ve used, the extended battery life and additional features, such as NFC, more than compensate for it. This certainly feels like a worthwhile purchase!
