I have RA in my hip & knees so find getting up from sitting a bit of a challenge some days, I was told to try a walking stick so I had been looking and then this came up so I decided to give it a try.The design is nice, not too old even by my standards.I don't find it too fiddly to set to the height I need.It sits next to me by the sofa and has really helped me get up with less pain and those initial few steps are far less painful using this.I had to use it today for the dog walk my hip was hurting so used this and it handled being walked outside just as good as inside my home. I felt very stable and safe walking around.I love how it can be taken down to fit in a bag which is very handy for day trips which we have a few up coming, I now plan to take this so I don't have to miss out of anything I can just unfold this and carry on walking.I have noticed a scratch not sure where/how it happened but the paint has scratched its not huge so you dont see it unless your looking for it but I mention it as I do feel it won't last as long as the stick will last but I am fine with this.Very handy, like the compact size, nice feel on the handle, good on pavement & around the home overall a daily winner for my purposes.

Ignore the product photo titled 'hiking essential' with a photo of a man at the top of a mountain, this is not a hiking/walking pole as it has no steel tip, is too short (a hiking/walking pole needs to be 15-20cm higher than your elbow when standing), and doesn't have an upright grip.It is, however, a nice, lightweight, folding walking stick. It is height adjustable, although there is no guidance provided about what height it should be (this kind of stick should have the handle at the same height as the knobbly bone in your wrist when you are standing straight).The stick is an attractive electric blue with a floral pattern, and it folds up and assembles easily giving you a stable support whilst still being lightweight.There is a wrist strap, although this could have benefited from having an adjuster bead to keep the strap in place on your wrist.The stick comes in a flimsy plastic packet which is reusable, and is the only way to keep the stick folded without it springing straight again, but it's a pretty horrible pouch. I've sewn an elastic loop to use to keep the stick folded up instead, but it's a shame it didn't come with something similar already.There are 2 spare rubber tips included which is useful if you are walking a lot on paved surfaces as the rubber does wear through and starts to make the stick unstable.Overall, very happy with this stick, really useful for walking longer distances when my hips are bad!

I ordered this walking stick for my partner after she had a minor operation on her foot leaving her with difficulty walking during the recovery and healing period. She found it painful to put much pressure on her foot which made walking difficult. With this stick she was able to get around much easier with the stick taking some of the weight off the poorly foot.The stick easily adjusts to the required height. It has a nice comfortable handle with wrist strap to avoid dropping it. It splits into four sections making it very neat and easy to carry and feels nice and solid easily and reassuringly taking weight when in use. It also has a nice bright pattern on it making it much less boring than standard grey crutches! At only £6.99 (at the time of writing) this is a bargain.

It folds into four and had two spare ferules. It's lightweight and stronger than I expected. I am still nervous about trusting it with my full weight. The handle doesn't seem that great and I can't adjust the height, the button doesn't work well. But it's about the right height for me. It has a pretty floral pattern and that's quite nice but not really suitable for most men? They'd probably prefer footballs or beer or something?? So it's pretty good for the price.

Walking stick is robust and well made with an attractive design although I prefer mine black. 2 extra ferrules are provided which is very handy. Finding good quality ferrules are difficult. Well packaged and easy to store so will be keeping these as a spare. They are easy to adjust to your hip height and feel good in your hand. Good value.

Arrived broken, dissappointing. Now I'm not sure I want to buy another??
