This Memory Card Reader from Benfei has proven to be incredibly useful and compact. Its USB-A and USB-C connections are the main reasons why I needed this handy and excellent-working card reader. It supports various SD card types like SDHC, SDXC, MMC-Micro, RS-MMC, and TF cards like Micro SD, Micro SDHC, and Micro SDXC. The connection ends come with protective caps, which is a nice touch.

This card reader has been an absolute life saver! I struggle to transfer files from my phone to my laptop using cables so this has made the job so much easier and quicker, despite being an extra step I have to take. SD reader works brilliantly and I haven't had any problems at all. It is fast at transferring and works flawlessly. Honestly had been one of the best items I have picked up in a while and I am beyond happy with the results! Worth every penny!

The card was new and pre-formatted to FAT32.Transfer Write speed for a 2GB file was around 35MB/sTransfer Read speed for the same file was around 86MB/sTested with Crystal Disk Mark, the speeds were:Write 37.49 MB/sRead 93.01MB/sThese are the sort of speeds I'd expect from the low speed Sandisk card, so I'm happy with thatI tried the card reader in the USB-C port on my Galaxy J12 phone and the reader was instantly recognised. The 2GB video file I'd transferred to the reader played fine without any problems.

This SD card reader works well between my iPhone 16 Pro Max and my M1 Max MacBook Pro.It allows me to preview video recordings made from my Sony video camera's SD card on my iPhone by using the USB-C end of the card reader. I can also connect it to my MacBook via a Thunderbolt dock using the USB-A end of the card reader for previewing my video files. I could use the USB-C ports on my Thunderbolt dock but these are usually being used for SSDs, so being able to use the USB-A connection is very convenient. The SD card reader can also connect direct to my MacBook via its Thunderbolt/USB-C ports.As for transferring data, it's not very fast. On both my iPhone and MacBook the read and write speeds to the card reader using a fast V60 U3 SD card were about the same. Testing a folder with 99GB of video files it was taking about 19 minutes to read or write the folder. Which is 99000MB. So for one minute the transfer speeds were about 5200MB per minute and about 86MB per second.So, while not being a fast SD card reader. It is perfect for previewing videos from an SD card on your iPhone 16 Pro Max. I was using 100Mb/s 4K 25FPS video files. This would also work for any 16 series iPhone. And in a pinch you could also use it for transferring files as well. Although, if you require faster transfer speeds, there are more suitable USB-C card readers out there.

This is a really nice compact SD card reader. I've been using it to caddy a microSD card between my HP Spectre laptop and my 3D printer. The small size means it doesn't stick out the back of the laptop too far, and it doesn't 'droop' like larger heavier readers. I've not had any connection problems and the SD card is recognised as soon as I plug the reader in. Good build quality, nice and light.

Having a card reader on a key ring, like this is an excellent idea. How often do we take a photo on a camera then for get to transfer it to more safety in the Cloud? Not you? It’s certainly me. Now I can make sure all those pictures I took last year (or, TBH, the year before, and the year … ) don’t just languish on a card at the bottom of my camera bag. Yes, I know I should transfer them to my computer but I always forget until next time I want to use my camera and find the card is full. So I end up using (and filling uo!) another card, or hastily deleting pictures to create room for more, because I don’t have my computer handy. If I keep this little gizmo on my keyring or attached to my camera bag, I’ll never have to choose whether to delete photos of Auntie Flo’s Golden Wedding party or that stunning sunset I caught in holiday in Greece. I can just shift both onto my keyring ready to catch those elusive Northern Lights. Then all I have to do is remember to download them all later but having them in my keyring will be a better reminder than if my masterpieces of photo journalism always left forgotten in my camera because I’ll have it always to hand.

Love this card reader. I use it for camera memory cards, and it works perfectly on my PC and Mac using both USB sides. It's more compact than my other reader, slim, and operates at full USB speeds. Highly recommend this!

SD o micro SD.Útil para conectar a un PC, portátil o teléfono móvil, gracias a sus dos conectores USB A y USB CEl folleto de instrucciones no está en español y, aunque no es muy complicado de usar, se agradecería que ya vayan distinguiendo nuestro idioma para usar cualquier producto. Reconozco que no todo el mundo es capaz de entender las cosas, por sencillas que puedan ser y, ya que tienen que imprimir uno, se esfuercen en hacerlo en este idioma tan hablado en el mundo.El lector funciona muy bien y es rápido, aunque sólo se puede usar una ranura a la vez, se supone que es un lector múltiple, pero es "único", como si fuera un lápiz de memoria.Su estructura aparenta solidez y me gusta su tamaño, ya que puedes llevarlo contigo como si fuera un llavero, pues incorpora una anilla para poner llaves o adjuntarlo a otro llavero. El precio no me parece excesivo, más bien justo dada las buenas sensaciones que aparentan sus materiales y su resultado.Estaría bien que, al igual que los conectores USB A y C tienen una tapa para protegerlos, tuvieran las entradas de las tarjetas alguna protección extra para evitar la entrada de polvo y suciedad.Lo he usado para transferir fotos y vídeos y ha funcionado perfectamente, se aproxima bastante a la velocidad que anuncian.Así que mi opinión es que es un producto recomendable, ligero, sólido, con un precio ajustado y con una tasa de transferencia bastante decente.

Cette adaptateur est impeccable, je peux le brancher sur mon ordinateur ou mon smartphone pour lire mes carte SD et microSD de 64go.Le lecteur carte SD de mon ordinateur ne fontione plus. J'étais obligé de laisser ma carte SD dans mon smartphone et de faire les transferts de données avec le câble. Comme ce câble est un câble de charge, le transfert n'était pas rapide.Grâce à cette adaptateur, le transfert de données est plutôt pas mal (environ 20 à 30 Mo/s) grâce à l'USB 3.0. La vitesse variée en fonction du matériel.La boucle me permet de l'accrocher à mes clés. Les capuchons en plastique aux 2 extrémités sont assez dur à retirer. Notice en 3 langues différentes dont je n'ai pas eu besoin.
