App compatible is a plus
Works Like a Dream for Road Trips and Camping!I got this mini refrigerator for road trips and camping, and it has been absolutely amazing so far! First off, the dual-zone feature is so useful I can have a fridge and a freezer at the same time. I kept drinks and snacks cold while freezing meat for longer trips. The temperature control has been very precise, and it cools down fast (seriously, it hit freezing temps in no time). The WiFi app control is super convenient. I appreciate being able to check and adjust the temperature from my phone without having to open the fridge. The design is also well thought out the interior light, removable crisper drawer, bottle holder it all makes organizing easy. Plus, the door can be reversed, which is a small but great touch. What really impressed me was the battery protection, it has three levels to prevent draining my car battery.Overall, it has been efficient, reliable, and well worth the price. If you need a portable fridge/freezer for your RV, camper, or car, this is the one to get! Very much so recommend happy travels to everyone out there

Perfect fridge, recommend
Works great. Nice to be able to have the different settings and app.Good value here. Able to put it in the car straight to battery or get a cigarette lighter connector. Can also get a converter cord and wire it to plug into wall. Which is what I did.Keeps things cold. It's pretty light to be able to put in car and a good size to be able to fit quite a bit of stuff in.A great feature that I didn't know about is that it opens in both directions! Also, it locks in place which is really nice as I have had other mini fridges that come back open after shutting. Especially since some might use this driving.

Door doesn't latch
The media could not be loaded. Loved my previous videos fridge with the dual hinges. This one, while very spacious, cold and decent looking has a door that doesn't quite latch securely. Sometimes it does, others it does t and then apart from a gap, I have to worry about the door popping open while driving.

Good Value and Best In Class Freezer Performance
I have been very impressed with the quality of this marine refrigerator because the fit and the finishes are perfect. The most useful feature that makes this product a cut above the competition is that the freezer section is completely separate and isolated which permits cooling to -8 degrees Farenheit. On a basis of warranty comparison, Bodega's warranty is one (1) year versus most other marine refrigerator manufacturers warranty's being a maximum of two (2) years with the exception of Indel Webasto being three (3) years. The only issue that I encountered was the manufacturers recommendation to self drill the existing holes to allow for fastening to a cabinet. Due to a manufacturing defect when the manufacturer left the refrigerator interior lighting wiring directly behind a self drill hole, the lighting is no longer functional. Due to this defect, I reduced the score to four stars.

Easy install, nice features
I installed the unit today, so I can't speak to longevity, but I will speak to what I have seen so far.The build quality is good. I like that there's a light inside. The door latch is very secure. I am in love with the independent temperature controls for the freezer vs fridge compartments. It's rated at 80 watts, which translates to about a 6.5 amp draw. Assuming a 50% compressor duty cycle, that means it'll use about 3.25 amp hours of your battery capacity per hour it's powered on. So, if you have 200Ah of 12v storage, this fridge will run for nearly 3 days on your battery... assuming no other draws, and you're not charging. Not too bad, really.Unlike the gas absorption unit this is replacing, the fridge came down to temperature super quickly; like 15-20 mins and it was cold inside. The ONLY gripe I have about this fridge is that it doesn't mount like other RV fridges with a flush flange, so theres an ugly, unfinished edge in my camper. A trip to the Orange or Blue store will fix that, though.

Works great and affordable compared to competition
Our absorption fridge kicked the bucket in our RV. After lots of research we went with the bodega, it fit the size we were replacing and was a better price compared to the other regular 12v brands. We used it this weekend and were very pleased. It is very quiet, held the temperature we set it to and did not draw a huge amount of power (see Pcole's review for detail on how long it will run on a LiFePO4 battery).I knocked off 1 star for a few reasons.- Like other said the latch feature takes a little to get used to before you get the knack of properly opening the door. The trick is to lift where it says open, then slide your hand in the center of the top of the door and pull..its a natural handle, but cannot be exposed until you lift on the left or right of it.- There is no drip catch for the condensation that accumulates like other 2 or 3 way fridges have so when you shut this unit off, make sure you wipe the fridge and freezer out well or you'll end up with a puddle on the floor- the LED lights on the unit are veru bright, the instruction has a diagram that shows a "night light" so I thought it could be turned off or dimmed but found no way to.- no mounting other than 4 screws at the front. There should be a bracket around the front face and holes in the bottom of the rear back plate where the compressor is so this can be more securely installed in a RV.All the above "cons" are not terrible or show stoppers. All in all this is a great buy. I have a few concerns on how well it will last based on a couple comments and concerns with the warranty, but time will tell.
