Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this particular skimmer basket because it stated that it was heavier, better quality than some of the other skimmer baskets.I am very happy with my purchase, even though I probably paid twice what I usually pay for a basket. I’m tired of buying skimmer baskets every few months because they did not hold up. Either the handle with break or if there were too many leaves, the basket would be sucked down into the skimmer and basically suctioned till it would be out of shape. I don’t have to worry with those things. It is so well-made and fits perfectly, so glad I finally got a reliable product.Works well:This skimmer basket will outlast other baskets.

The skimmer basket is well made and is made in the USA. It is weighted to keep it down when the pump goes off which is a good feature. I brought it for my friend’s pool and was going to buy another for me, it was that well made. It has a folding handle which is nice. BUT before I gave it to my friend I tried it in my pool to see if it fit. IT WAS TOO SMALL. It did not sit on the top ledge but went inside the skimmer and got stuck. Luckily I tried it when the pump was off. BEWARE. I really wish it fit my pool. I really liked it. But I am happy that I gave a good gift to my friend. But measure good before buying.

Last basket I will purchase this will last me a long time worth the price versus the cheap inexpensive baskets. Tried the little cheap baskets but they are not made strong and sturdy like this basket. I Like that it’s weighted so I don’t have to find a way to keep it from floating up when the pump stops running. Fits the opening just right essay to pull out and clean

These are a great replacement for our skimmer baskets. Had to replace one when the metal bar finally corroded (after 20 years). This basket fits perfectly in the Pentair skimmer and is heavy enough that it doesn't float up in. Liked it so much, decided to replace the other basket

These things are heavy duty? Had a pool built 3 years ago, as the baskets aged they got weaker, ended up getting pulled into the skimmer housing. I had to crush them to get them out. That won’t happen to these, the baskets are probably five times heavier than.

This is a very high quality basket. I hated the basket I received from my pool installer and I searched for a replacement. My original basket was thin and the handle kept coming off as I retrieved it from the skimmer. You will be totally happy with this replacement basket.

Very durable! This basket is made of a more solid material than traditional pool baskets. The handle is also very durable and is easily removed by angling each side and sliding the handle out. It’s like someone who owns a pool designed a basket that just works well. I would purchase again if this one ever needs to be replaced, but it feels like it will last for years. Great purchase.

Super sturdy not like the normal plexiplastic POS. Works great, snug fit, bigger than expected which is good those other kinds like to take up unnecessary space. and stacking to put up the extra was a great choice in design. easy to store, stack, and pull out to reuse.Love it
