This is a fine powder that will hold your make up in place. I use a brush to put it on and you only need a small amount. The colour suits my colouring and is not obvious once in place. My only quibble, is that I had trouble opening the compact at first, but I've got the hang of it now. If I'm going out for the day I use a little mist of setting spray over my face and it lasts all day looking perfect.

the product is super light and very effective in smoothing out the skin tone. helps to hold down the blusher and foundation, etc. However, the hinge on the lid is very weak and in no time at all the plastic crumbled. This means the lid barely stays on. Customer service is next to nil...no amount of emails to the company has resulted in a response.

As I have very oily skin I've tried almost every pressed, loose, setting and finishing powder there is. Wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but this is milled really finely and provides a lovely finish. I always use a heavier duty loose powder underneath as my skin is so oily, so I can't say how mattifying it is on 'normal' skin, but as a finishing powder it's great. I use a velvet-type soonge pad and it deposits some colour, which is slightly on the light/pale side for my skin tone, but isn't remotely cakey, even with a fair amount on. Skin looks so smooth and quite expensive. One downside is the pans are sooo shallow. There is certainly not much powder in. Used as only a finishing powder, applied twice a day, it has lasted me 8 weeks. Obviously it is very inexpensive, though, so it's okay.

Having always known of the benefits of beetroot I was pleased to read an article about beetroot powder. I have now tried the beetrot powder and am very pleased with the results. The suggested 1-2 teaspoons per day are the maximum that should be tried initially as the strength is much stronger than that produced by the fruit

I love this powder. My foundation stays on perfectly for the entire day.

Love this powder! It blends perfectly with my skin tone, removes shine, and can be applied throughout the day without any feeling of buildup. I apply it with a lovely fluffy brush (also an e.l.f. product). Will buy it again!
