We're very pleased with this kit. The needles are sharp and strong, the waxed thread is strong and easy to handle, and there's a great variety of needles. I was able to reattach a strap to my favorite purse without much trouble at all.

This little kit is an absolutely amazing deal! All items are good quality, and there are multiple additional items included not shown in the first picture (scroll through to see multiple thimbles, seam ripper, threader, and very handy case). We ordered for the needles so my daughter could more easily darn her pointe shoes, and it's an exceptionally good deal given the quality of the needles plus everything else that's included. Really glad we ordered this!

The only thing it's missing is matching set of needles so folks can saddle stick leather. Other than that, it's a near-perfect kit so I'm giving it a 5 star. The thread is very good quality and has just the right amount of wax needed - any more wax like a lot of the other kits sold on Amazon would be overkill and unusable. The needles are all very sharp and good quality which is exactly what you need for leathering. This little kit is all you need to repair your leather goods.

I picked this kit up to repair some backpack straps that had started to fail. I needed something much stronger than standard thread, and this waxed upholstery version did the job without any issues. The thread is heavy-duty and the wax coating is consistent—it doesn't bunch up or fray while you’re pulling it through thick material. It made short work of the heavy webbing on the straps, and the needles included in the kit are actually sharp and strong enough to pierce through several layers of nylon and canvas without bending. It’s a simple, no-frills kit that works. If you have some gear that needs a real repair and not just a quick stitch, this is a reliable option. The black color is consistent across the rolls, and there's plenty of it to handle several large projects. It saved me from having to toss a perfectly good backpack.

Everything i needed for the repairs. And many items to make the repairs easier (Thimble, thread guide, seam splitter). Definitely glad i purchased this!
