Good investment
So far it's been able to work with dolphin, aethersx2, and redream emulators. Some of the games haven't worked properly, iam still in the process of tinkering with it. I have a s23 ultra. I got it after getting thebackbone because of the future wear and tear of the charging port. Although it is bulkier then the backbone, in the long run it will be a healthier option for my phones durability. Also works with most googleplay games.

Great controller
I constantly use this for my switch to play games, it feels amazing to hold in the hands and the sticks are way better than the switch control ones. The only issue is the process of switching from devices as it might be a little confusing to remember, so better to have the manual somewhere to look back on. The buttons feel tactile and give good feedback. It is my go to controller for playing the game Hades. the magnetic cover for the controller makes it a breeze to swap the button layout, as it was on Xbox layout, but a quick pull and reorder of the buttons took no longer than a minute, no screwdriver required. I use it occasionally for my Ipad mini, but the volume and power button get in the way, so have to be precised when setting it, or it will press onto the buttons, but it works great once it is all set properly. Get it if you want more control on your switch or phone/tablet. 100% recommend it especially if it is on sale and you game a lot on switch or phone.

Great controller just don't lose any buttons
LOVE This device, works great for my ZFold 6 but I dropped it and lost 2 buttons, Replaceables need to be available. It also works great for any bluetooth device

Nearly perfect
Nearly a grand slam. Quality is almost first party level, feels just a bit cheaper. For me its in sticks which is surprising bc they are Hall effect and on paper better. Supports a large number of devices so I think that helps value at $80 a lot.iOS mode has recorder and - swapped. If you use switch mode it works perfect tho.

This is the controller you're looking for...
Overall: an excellent controller. Honestly, probably the most solid feeling controller on the market in terms of build quality.I've used the Backbone One and Pro, I've used the Kishi V3... Both pale in comparison to this thing. In options alone, the G8+ beats them both.In design, the one thing I will give props to on the other 2 big options is the size. This thing is a chonk, and it's a decently hefty controller. But other than that, the sheer fact I can swap thumb sticks, button positions and the charging port location are just awesome. Not to mention, you can ACTUALLY use a case with it!!!For fellow Fold 7 users, this controller actually lets you orient the screen in a proper direction, unlike the Backbone and Kishi where you're limited to the port location and your screen is oriented in an upside-down fashion.I wish this option was the first one I went with, but now I know this is the best option on the market.

bad USB C jack, but please read
To save some people the trouble, I thought I'd write a review addressing my experience with this controller. As my title states, the USB C jack was bad. In my case the actual connection between the cable and the jack was fine, it was the whole jack assembly, that moved around inside the controller. I use mobile controllers on my PC and always with a wired connection. The loose connection would frequently cause rapid disconnect and reconnect constantly until I moved the jack around, but sometimes it wouldn't really be a full disconnect so the controller would constantly send whatever signal was input until the jack was moved. This means if you were having your character walk slowly forward, when the issue happens they keep walking forward and you have to quickly realize that's happening, and move the jack around before your characters walks off a cliff or into a boss room you weren't ready for. Note that removing and reconnecting the USB C cable did nothing. It was only when the jack was moved that the issue stopped temporarily. I did not abuse the item in any way, it seriously did this out of the box, and it was new and sealed, this was not a used or warehouse item.To be fair something like this, I hope is just a one off defect, but I've seen some reviews on other controllers from this manufacturer that stated there were some issues with both wired and wireless connections and I did not want to take the chance.I was actually very sad I had to return this because outside of the issue causing the controller to randomly stop working, it was VERY good. The hall effect sticks are night and day levels of difference compared to any other sticks I've used. Very hard to find on a quality controller and this was SO close.Outside of this my other issues with the controller were more personal preference regarding button placement. The "menu" button (the one with "+" on it) on the right side of the controller is too close to the "x" button. It doesn't look like it from the pictures, but it's very close and very easy to accidentally press "x" while trying to press it. Ideally I prefer for these buttons to be placed between the joystick and the "abxy" section, and likewise on the left side, between the joystick and the d-pad.The other thing I don't like but this is 90% of the aftermarket controllers right now, is the programmable buttons on the handles. I've never had an issue with paddles that sit in BETWEEN the handles, but the ones actually ON the handles, I've never found to be in the right places for my hands and overall it's annoying to have accidental presses when handling the controller in general. These should really be moved to the back of the center of the controllers. It's possible I'm the only one that doesn't like this common placement location, but I feel like I can't be the only one.The item overall seems to be of good quality, it's just the USB C jack, which I suspect a lot of people will not use, but I'm not sure if that may cause issues with charging, which people WILL use.If gamesir can fix the issue with the jack, I'm sure a lot of people will love this controller. I wish I could give a higher rating but a bad data/charging jack, is just not acceptable.
