I bought this for my 8 year old daughter for indoor use. She LOVES it and so does our cat : ) Good quality and I like that it can be removed quite easily (don’t need to leave up all the time as it installs to the ceiling). Be sure to purchase a mounting kit separately as this does not come with the mounting hardware which would be my only complaint.

I was actually really impressed by these. We originally got them for an airbnb rental but since Covid shut that down I decided to just put them up at home and I’m so glad I did! They are so cute and as long as there’s a couple pillows under your butt and behind your back they are super comfy! I installed them myself in a weight bearing wooden beam under our front foyer. I got the chains and connections for 600lbs plus! This is very important that you install in a WEIGHT BEARING BEAM or install some kind of additional structure to hold the weight of a human. I am a tallish (5’10”) heavy set girl (220 lbs) and I sit comfortably in this chair, and do not feel that it is stressed or likely to fall down at any time, it’s pretty sturdy but that really comes down to making sure you’ve done a good job on your end actually hanging it up.I left off one star because I noticed the string around the bottom hoop started getting loose. I pulled it tight and secured it myself so that’s not an issue anymore, but it happened on both of the chairs so I’m assuming that’s an issue on all of them. Make sure to keep an eye for the macrame getting loose under the bottom left knee when you’re sitting in it.

This review is written several months after purchase. A gift for our 8 year old granddaughter. It is her go to for reading books, games on her phone, writing letters, or just sitting and spinning. She loves this addition to her room. Her older brothers 12 and 14, even love it and have requested ones for their rooms in blue and grey colors. The quality of this product is very good and is holding up well after a lot of use! We added a bunch of soft blankets, and soft stuffed animals to curl up on, but a pillow made for this shape would be very nice. If only I was into sewing and making pillows. LOL. Have not found a pillow made for this swing to purchase separately, but the blankets work fine and I have heard "0" complaints. Make sure when you buy this swing to add the suggested "add on's" for hanging it up, it arrived with the swing. It was nice to be able to install immediately on my granddaughters birthday, quick and easy install for my husband after he found a stud to hang it on! Worth every penny!!! I love gifts that last longer than a weeks worth of play. This will be enjoyed for years to come. Highly recommend to friends. I have already purchased another swing for another granddaughter who lives out of state. Yes, we will be buying two for the grandsons as well. Spoiled! LOL. Ok, actually I want one for my room too!

This product is super cute and pretty comfy. We bought it for our daughter’s (indoor) play room and I’m happy with it for that use. She’s two and LOVES it. Way beyond anticipated. Like, parents... GET THIS. Kids get their playground energy out and you don’t have to go freeze your buns off in winter to do so.I’d be cautious if this will be used often by adults or used outdoors. I’m not sure of the sturdiness. Neither my husband or I will sit on it because we don’t want to break it. (We’re average sized people!) And it definitely seems like the thread would not hold up well if exposed to any weather (we’re in Colorado and I really don’t think I’d use it anywhere other than indoors or on a covered porch).One other note is that the threads aren’t super tight. So you can occasionally see the white metal rings that the yarn is wrapped around. It doesn’t bother me because we got the ivory color. If it was a different color I’d probably be bummed because it would be more noticeable. But price trumps all in this case and I don’t think this could be best for the cost.Overall, I love it for how we’ll use it! Parent win, for sure.

Bought two of these swings three years ago for my covered porch and they're still going strong with daily use by kids, teens, and adults. They are a bit dirty now, but I would expect that after as much love as these have gotten and after being subjected to the elements every day. I do place a small/medium patio pillow in each for lumbar support. Definitely one of the best purchases I have made!

I loved this so much but after a year of use it started coming apart along the bottom hoop. Then 6 months after that the part that goes up to the roof began to snap. Only my toddlers use this so now I will have to replace it.

This chair is exactly what I was looking for. I installed it inside for my wife to use as a reading nook and she loves it. It's very comfortable and looks great. In the photo attached to this review, I used a string to tie the back to the support rod--it is only connected at either end, not in the middle. I found this helpful in adding structure and I prefer the look of it this way, but it is not needed.It seems like it could definitely hold a good amount of weight. It will definitely hold me (~225 lbs) and has held up to our 75lb dog trying to jump into it while my wife is already sitting in the chair. I purchased hanging hardware separately and recommend doing so. I'm fairly handy and considered using a lag bolt/eye hook, but the recommended hardware is super sturdy and allows for a greater range of movement. Worth spending the few extra bucks on, especially since this chair is really well-priced.

I bought this chair to hang on my front porch where there isn't a lot of space for furniture or a traditional wooden swing. WE LOVE IT!!! My husband and I rush to be the first one out the door in the evenings to sit in it. We have used it everyday since it arrived last month and now my mom, sister-in-law, and neighbors all want one. I love to sit outside in the evenings with a book and enjoy the fresh air. The chair is sturdy enough to hold over 250 lbs and takes the abuse of my kids swinging in it daily. It doesn't take up much room and it light enough for us to remove it when not in use. I am impressed with how much it stretches out and feels like a full size hammock. I can't wait to get another!
