This light was a game changer, wow. There no shadows cast on the board. It almost seems like the actual board is made of lights.Word of caution, make sure your board is parallel to the wall, otherwise the magnets will slip. I thought there was something wrong with the light and noticed my board was skewed downwards, not parallel. With a Winmau board it was simple to loosen the adjusting wheels and bring the board into it's correct position....no more magnet slip.

This thing is greatSome years back I made a sort of light system for my board (which is in the garage). It worked but not very elegant and not super bright eitherIt was time for an upgrade.This is very bright white light off the LEDs - for me its OK as is, but some might want a dimmer for itI have a Winmau Blade 5 board - this installed very easily on that board (magnets on the 4 support legs are plenty strong to hold it securely to the metal band on the circumference of the board and fit very well) - less than 5 minutes and it was good to go.Been using it for over 3 months now - still great. I do not find it is distracting.Nice product - now I can see very clearly that I missed that pesky triple 20..............

The best home dartboard lighting system for my Granboard. I picked this light up while I was on sale for roughly half of the normal cost so that might sway my thoughts a little but for the price I paid and how the light functions/sits on the board with the adapters I picked up from A-to-Z Darts, this light leaves the area of my board dark, is space away from the board far enough, where I don’t have to worry about any dart hitting the light on my throw, and is easy to turn on and off with the included switch on the cable.The magnets hold strong on the adapter I have for soft tip boards, and I have not once had to worry about the light falling off of my board. With it being held on by magnets, it makes it easy to take off and put to the side when not being used and quickly put back on anytime I want to use my board. As well, I believe it will also make it easy to swap from board to board if I pick up a steel tip board in the future.Assembly was super simple and set up was even easier!

Very nice product worth the money

I play league darts and we use these lights at our club for league play. I also have one for my house and this one I just bought for my son. The big difference is the first three we're over $120. This one on Amazon the very same one was 74 bucks. This is the best dart on the market

easy to attach, works as advertised, good value

Although I just received this item, I do have to say it showed up in a fairly decent amount of time. I am looking forward to testing it out, not quite sure how strong the magnets on the legs are. The light itself is extremely bright and definitely puts a white light which brightens the board Quite a bit. I have played darts for quite a while, and just recently in the past couple of years have had the opportunity to play with three different types of lighting. And this seems to give you enough light where you don’t see shadows from your Darts when they enter the board and secondly one that I find a little important to the individual that happens to be a beginner the ring of light gives you plenty of room in order to throw the dart at the dartboard. I know some people tend to lob their darts into the dartboard and some lights do not give you the room.Now that I have had the opportunity to use the light I do have to say that I wish the manufacturers would use stronger magnets on the arms of the light and or supply a large rubber band that can go around the outside of the legs and around the circumference of the dartboard, which would help secure the light and keep it from moving when the Darts enter the board. All in all so far I am very satisfied with this product and do recommend it to those of you who are looking for a little extra light on your board which will help those of you who don’t care for shadow casting from your dart.

I bought the Viper Defender II Backboard & Sisal/Bristle Steel Tip Dartboard Bundle and I got this product too. With the backboard, it came with a strip of foam to insert to make the board and backboard fit more snug. In order to fit the ring light legs, I cut parts of the backboard foam strips to fit the legs. I'd say its VERY snug and almost a 100% fit. VERY happy. Light is bright. Sturdy clip in legs to the ring light. Simple to put together and all around good price for what is in the package. Works great.
