For what I am using it for( to keep a dog off my bed). It works great. Folds easily sturdy enough. All the parts were there.

The bottom part where the rail meets the mattress is just one huge flap barely held together by Velcro. A kid could easily fall right out, which defeats the whole purpose. I wanted to be able to have my baby girl sleep in bed with me and feel safe. I also was not aware that this rail is meant to be screwed into the bed frame rather than being attached by straps. I honestly regret buying this

Just wished it had an added support in the mid-section to make it steadier and less prone to tipping outward. The strap is a bit cumbersome to install.

This is the best bed rail I have ever bought. I would say for a 1 yr old & up. I actually started using it for a 10 mth old. Very sturdy & dependable. I had bought the pillow hump looking thing, it was ok, but you will definitely sleep well knowing your baby has this!
