These have been great to use in an SEN setting, helping build confidence - lots of different pictures/words of varying complexity. Generally durable and should stand up to an occasional spill etc, but at £45 at time of review are expensive.

My wife has used these as a resource for speech therapy and they are great, for two reasons:Firstly the kids engage with them, they are nice bright colours, good quality, and ideal to start conversation with a child.Secondly from a practical perspective they are lightweight so easy to take to different schools etc if you are a speech therapist on the move.

This are great articulation flash cards. They're simple to use with clear images and writing.

I needed these Articulation Flash Cards for my 3-year-old grandson to help with his speech development. The picture cards system is a versatile tool for supporting language development and most likely his reasoning skills too. The set includes 210 real-world photo cards, with 30 relatable images each dedicated to seven specific sounds: S, R, L, Z, S-Blend, R-Blend, and L-Blend. Being able to use a targeted approach to his speech development will make practice sessions more effective.I understand that Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) recommend these flash cards for a wide age range, from toddlers (2-4 years) to children and even adults. I am using them in a private home setting with one child, but they would be ideal in various educational settings, including kindergarten, special education, and home-school teaching. So far, my grandson finds the images engaging and is eager to participate in the activities.The photo cards are high quality and large enough to be clearly seen even in small group use. Each card features a colour picture of a recognisable object on the front and the associated word and sound target on the reverse side. This design helps reinforce the learning process. The card set comes with a Flash Cards Activity Guide, to help integrate into daily learning routines.The flash cards are also likely to be useful to adults recovering from a stroke, or those learning English as a second language (ESL). There are a few American words on some cards that might not fit perfectly into a British therapy setting.The price of this set is on the high side, but the quality of the card system is high too. The Articulation Flash Cards are a worthwhile investment for anyone wanting to support speech development in children or adults.

I have been using these with a few children I work with and have found they have been really useful. The children also enjoy working with them which is always a bonus! Would recommend.

This set of premium-quality cards comes in a very nice and robust box, which it has to be given the weight of this set. There was no wasted packaging.The quality of the cards themselves is also very nice, good quality card stock is used throughout with great finishing.The layout is well thought-out, and the illustrations compliment the contents well. There is a small caveat here in that this is clearly an american product and therefore there are some local differences in both content and expression. These are quite rare though, so that shouldn’t affect your purchasing decision.The current price is £44.95, which is certainly not cheap by any standard. However you are getting a better than average product, so perhaps it evens it out.Overall I would say take a good look at these before you buy (if possible), and they are going to get a recommendation from me.

This is a really good set of cards, suitable for children to learn phonics. We got it for our toddler to learn words, and she enjoys looking at them and guessing the words a lot. Very useful to have the words at the back and the clear image at the front. Pictures are very nice, clear, colourful and realistic (photographs). They include a good range of topics, and words are mixed between everyday items and harder to pronouce words and items that are a bit less used, so they learn less common words.The material is really good, paper is quite hard but could be a bit thicker as we are dealing with children, though am aware that could increase the weight of an already fairly heavy set. Fits well into box, compact and easy to put away. The set is really expensive though - fair warning.

They feature 210 super high quality photograph picture cards, 30 images each for seven sounds: S, R, L, Z, S-Blend, R-Blend and L-Blend, storage box, index tabs for filing, clear readable fonts, large cards, wipe clean, water resistant, colour coded and modern language.We purchased these cards for neurodivergent learners in our family. These cards are fantastic not only as Speech therapy tools but for ESL and little who are learning to read, etc.We use these in a homeschool setting, but they are perfect for School settings, for many professionals working with Adults and children in ABA, SLP, Speech Therapy, etc, as well as vocabulary building at home.NOTE: There are UK spellings for some words such as Tyre, which is not an issue to provide the Canadian spelling instead.This set is amazing and such high quality it will last for years and is a wonderful tool.I recommend this product.

Der Deckel ist ebenfalls sehr stabil, sitzt gut und kann sehr angenehm geöffnet werden.Die Karten sind in einer ebenso guten Qualität gefertigt, was man allerdings bei dies Preis auch erwarten darf. Sie sind sehr schön groß, ideal für den Unterricht und Recht stabil. Sofern für jemanden interessant, die Karten sind nicht matt, sondern weisen einen dezenten glanz auf.Für den zukünftigen Verwendungszweck sollte beachtet werden, dass die Schrift auf der Rückseite der Karten auf Englisch ist. Also entweder man verwendet nur die Bilder in einem anderen Kontext oder eben in einem englischsprachigen Unterricht. Hierfür sind sie auch konzipiert und weisen dafür eine entsprechende Farbcodierung auf der Rückseite auf, welche sich nach den Lauten richtet.Das einzige was ich an den Karten aussetzen könnte, wäre der Preis. Da solch ein Material aber leider in der Regel immer so teuer ist und der Preis somit marktüblich erscheint, würde ich volle Punkte geben.

This is a nice set, well organized, and easy to use. It does feel a little pricey to me for what you get. Each section is labeled according to the sound that you are trying to practice. As well as being color coordinated. One side has a picture, the other side has the sound you are focusing on.

Pros:- Really great variety for each phoneme in all positions (initial, medial, final, and blends).- Features real-life photos, making them easily recognizable, relatable, and appropriate for all ages.- High-quality, durable cards printed on thick cardstock with bright and appealing images.- Suitable size for both individual and group use.- Simple design focused on the target image, free from distracting decorations.- Highly organized by speech sound with a colour-coded system and an inventory list.- Includes rare medial and final blends, as well as comprehensive blend combinations.- Comes with a sturdy storage box with dividers for each sound and a lid, making it portable and convenient store.Cons:- Contains several significant phoneme errors, especially considering the price of $65+.- The final /s/ deck includes words ending in the /z/ sound, which can be very confusing for those working on their speech (i.e. bubbles, eggs, and vase).- The spelling of the word "tyre” looks incorrect for anyone from North America (tire), however this is the correct way in British English.- The /r/ deck could be better organized by separating different vocalic /r/ sounds.- It does not include cards for many common speech sounds like sh, ch, th, k, g, and f.- There are a few blemishes where it looks like the cards bled onto other cards (see photo attached)Conclusion:These articulation flash cards are a great resource for any speech therapy clinic and/or educational setting, thanks to them offering a wide variety of real-photograph cards that target speech sounds in all positions. However, they are expensive and have a few critical mistakes that may impact their usability.
