A rock n roll riot of a read!
I've been totally engrossed in Wotcha...A must-read for anyone with an ounce of that Srummeresque attitude still inside of them, and if you hav'nt, read it anyway and get some! It's insightful, funny and very dark...The language (genius), the people (somehow strangely familiar), the places (The Powerstation, indeed!)A rock n roll riot of a read (as Mr Saunders would probably say)

Good, but not that good
I spend a lot of time reading reviews to try and find those gems. So I thought I was going to read a work of pure genius given the 18 5* reviews bestowed upon Wotcha...BUT, while it is very well written and is a good entertaining read, it is so ridiculous in some of its neat plot lines and coincidences and the world that Saunders has created for the villain that it just cannot be 5*Don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it (but not to my mother) but I think someone needs to blemish it's 100% 5* rating, because it certainly ain't a masterpiece.

Not What I Expected!
Kevin Saunders can write a story. There's a lot of sensitivity in this one, it's not the debauched rock 'n roll chronicle I was expecting; there's real substance to the plot. Tension rises in the last several chapters and Kevin's descriptive writing really chills the mood and keeps the reader on board, good cliff-hanger endings to the chapters.Let's not forget this is Kevin's first published novel. It proves his skills I reckon. I will certainly give his next book a spin.

WOW!
Definitely way out of my normal comfort zone but I thoroughly enjoyed Wotcha! It's a cracking read, funny as hell in places, dark as dark can be in others, but overall I loved every page cover to cover, even the bits that made me go Ewwwwwww! Thanks Kev

Really good
It's really gritty, which I wasn't expecting as I downloaded it thinking it would be a quick funny read, but really humorous and quirky.
