Well…this explains a lot!
Got diagnosed as an adult. Imagine that! I decided to get more information on this beautiful topic.This book intrigued me, I love that it’s a guided work book.I was able to include my partner as well, who in turn is…yep you guessed it! Currently getting diagnosed!I love this book. I know a lot about a lot in the medical world, it’s often mundane and becomes so boring not only cause I have ADHD, but because it’s the same lectures over and over. Most books don’t include you in such a personal way, and they don’t make it an experience.This was enlightening, very informative, engaging, and gave me several (like 30) Ahh Ha! Moments.Loved it…you should definitely buy it! I mean if you have questions about said subject 🙃

An invaluable asset and tool for those with ADHD and understanding those struggling with it.
I’ve been scouring the internet for information to help me better understand a loved one that struggles with ADHD. Their impulsiveness and frustration coupled with my struggle to understand really started to strain our relationship. I stumbled on this book purely by happenstance, downloaded it to my iPad and read through. It keeps the tenuous topic light while also providing insightful information about the mindset of someone suffering from ADHD. The examples were ones that I could relate to seeing them experience and while its written more as a self-help book, it also gave me valuable insight on how to better understand and cope with their struggles. Overall, I would highly recommend this book if you or a loved one is struggling with ADHD. It seems to be a topic swept under the rug all too often, but I’ve found firsthand it’s a serious condition that requires a unique and supportive approach.

Helpful for adults new to navigating ADHD
I found the suggestions for how to manage ADHD helpful. I know calendars and lists are everything for me and now I have new tools in my tool belt that I didn’t know about. I also appreciating the section about parenting. A few errors like bullet point sections (no commas or periods should be in lists) and cheesy fake stories. When the author speaks about herself, it’s far more relatable than the stories. Overall, it serves the purpose, and I appreciate that the suggestions were actually relevant for adults and not the same generic tips you receive in ADHD books geared toward children with ADHD.
