For the price this is a great set. I bought this for a vacation only expecting it to last the vacation if that. The majority of it was gifted to Hotel staff at the end of vacation. I was honestly expecting much worse from the reviews and everything we used looked just fine. The cast net was better than expected. And let’s just say I didn’t have any expectations and I haven’t used a cast net probably in close to 20 years but I was able to cast just fine basically every cast. I didn’t hit any major rocks, which can easily mess up a cast net, but I did catch several horseshoe crabs in the net and it handled them just fine even though they were large. I also caught plenty of bait fish.I didn’t actually get a chance to test it yet but the folding landing net is actually pretty slick. Kept that.The crab traps look like they would work just fine for temporary use, like a vacation…Might need some weights to keep them on the bottom. Would probably buy again if I went on vacation again to a place where I could use this stuff.

Easy to use. My 6 year old loves the kit. Caught lots of minows, fish and turtles. We use it at the lake. Good quality.
