easy to follow and informative book - well written with a twist of humour to break your concentration when scratching your head over the equations!!!!!!

I purchased this book to assist me with an assignment in university. It did a very good job in doing so. It had detailed descriptions and images inside of different types of cylinder head and air flow effects (swirl,tumble etc). It also has clear guides on how to make your own flowbench machine and then how to modify ports in step by step guides.If you're looking for an accurate book on cylinder heads then this is the way to go!

A must book if you are diy ing your self all the How to build and modify books range r really helpful

For some reason the book is in optimalç condition but arrived with a straight cut accross the cover. I find no obvious explanation for it.Other than that, the book is perfect

I've always huge respect for Peter Burgess. If your serious about exploring cylinder head efficiency then this book is for you. You have to bare in mind that CH tuning can be a bit of a black art. Certain techniques often yeild results but not always. This book helps you to test your actions.

All book talks about engine basic principles. Only a few pages about actually subject. No any detail information. Do not even speak about combustion chamber problems fixing and porting only some basic principles about ports. Very basic information about engine principles. Recommend for only beginners to get some information about how engine work but really not about "How to Build, Modify and Power Tune Cylinder Heads".
