I have a 130lb Rottwieller that loves to pull. I have gone through 7 leashes in the course of a year from her pulling so much. Not only was this leash inexpensive, but its 6 ft length gave more breathing room for my Rottie. It is strong and durable enough that no amount of pulling (and even chewing on occasions) from her could cause damage to the leash, which is refreshing. The padded handle and multi thread stitching is a plus with such a big dog. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has large and powerful pullers or even just for a peac of mind when walking your dog.

DECEPTIVE SELLERFirst, I was redirected to this site page thinking I was purchasing from a different seller who is actually honest.Next, I was here to purchase a 6-ft leash for my dog. The description and even the measurements are a LIE. The leash is NOT 6 ft! I may not have even realized it if I wasn't replacing one of two leashes: I have two dogs. One of their leashes broke and I was replacing it. I immediately noticed that one dog was constantly trying to pull me to catch up to the other dog. When we arrived back home I measured the leashes (see photos) NOT SIX FEET!Deceptive sellers like this should be banned from Amazon

Great value for money. Bought in July 2018, it's November 2019 as I'm updating this review: the leash has dealt with daily use without any problems and no significant wear.A different leash had the light stripes be reflective, but they started fraying immediately, so it's actually nice this is just rope.It's actually longer than other leashes that also claimed "6 feet", but measures around 6ft1in so the other leashes were just lying. I often find myself wrapping the leash around my palm to shorten it a little (but it's pretty comfortable to wrap, unlike some leashes with metal parts or rough edges). I need to buy a new leash for our other dog, so I'm gonna try the 4-foot version for her.

I have an 11 month old Great Pyrenees "puppy" (weighs 98 lbs already). After reading a forum on my breed I realized he needed a 4ft. leash. It needed to be strong needless to say. I ordered this leash and am so glad I did. It has been a life saver with Sherman. I hate the fact that he will bite the leash when he gets frustrated but it has not changed this leash what so ever. I highly recommend.

I have a 115lb great pyr mix that lives for walks. He's ok about pulling but there is one dog in the neighborhood that he hates and he will pull...hard. Low and behold we crossed paths with this dog and Walter went nuts. This leash held him and I did get a rope burn. That incident really proved it's strength. I do not question that! My biggest gripe is its too thin. It's about the diameter of a kids Crayola marker, maybe a little smaller even. I like a thicker rope leash. I also always wanted a 6 foot leash but now after having one I think it's too long for us so I tied some knots in it to also help grip. I really appreciate the D-ring to put my poop bag dispenser on, more leashes should have that. I have washed it in a bra bag in the washer machine, worked great. Over all, strong sturdy leash but too thin for me.

What a great leash! Just enough spring in it and an excellent design.The reason it gets 4 stars is because of the size of the clip on it! It must weigh close to a pound. When beau shakes his head the weight of the clip swings his Collier half way around his neck.So your constantly pulling it around back of his neck.When are people going to realize that the clips can be quite small and light and still be strong.4 stars!

Great leash! My dog is 85 lb of solid muscle. I need a leash to control him yet one that is small enough to fit in my coat pocket when I am letting him run. This leash does the job well. The end loop is big enough to easily slip over my gloved hand and I have some big mitts folks. The elasticity of the rope really helps on the sudden lurches and strains. Hardware is good quality. I will purchase again.

*UPDATED* Worn out after just two months of light use.I'll admit, my dog pulls and she's now only 11 months, but the quality of this leash seems up for debate. The interior of the leash feels like it's under a lot more strain than the exterior which is bunching at the handle due both to pulling and poor craftsmanshipUPDATE: The company contacted me regarding their satisfaction guarantee and offered to replace the product or provide a refund.
