Good lab pipettor for cell culture
Got this product as my lab needed more pipet aids, and unfortunately most commercial vendors charge quite the premium for their pipettors. This one is certainly functional, although the plastic feel and quality match its lower price. Standard construction, with the replaceable air filter and rubber nozzle, and it comes with some spares as well. The weakest point is the charger, with an odd and thin DC jack. Recommend to use the built-in stand when charging, since it is easily dislodged and possibly could get bent. Overall though, the pipettor works well for basic liquid transfers with pipettes ranging from 5mL to 50mL (although suction is definitely weaker with the 50mL pipettes).

This review is for the LAB FISH Laboratory Electronic Pipettors Pump Pipette Controller for Lab | 0.1~200ml Range 6 Adjustable Speeds | LCD Display 8h Rechargeable Lithium Battery with Standing Stand. The LAB FISH is my first powered pipette controller. When I was in school people just used pipettes in their mouths. My pipetting these days is in the kitchen. I have a mechanical pipette controller but that controller has never worked reliably. I am pleased with how the LAB FISH works, but I had some difficulty getting there. When I first received my LAB FISH I charged the battery. Then I realized the pipette tips that I had were incompatible with the LAB FISH. Once I acquired the correct pipette and had an opportunity to use it -- measuring pectinase for dissolving grapefruit -- the LAB FISH didn't work. Nothing.Eventually I realized the battery was dead. LAB FISH has an odd power connector rather than USB C. Finally I have the LAB FISH working satisfactorily. Easy to use. One button up, other button to drain. Simple. One star off because of the poor power connector and short battery life.

High Quality
Very high quality pipette, was able to get me very precise measurements in the exact range I need EVERY TIME. It seemed complicated to break down and clean, but was able to get it done, and its nothing too complex. Worth it for a high quality consistent accurate device!

Cheaper than from the scientific supply catalog for sure!
The LAB FISH electronic pipettor is a very good quality instrument that I'm sure will last me many years. When I ordered it I didn't realize that although it sucks up the material automatically, it does not suck out a pre-determined amount. I guess I didn't read the description well enough, so that's my fault. It's quite easy to operate though, and the adjustable speed lets you have both quickness and control when transferring fluids. I'd highly recommend this as it's so much cheaper than the ones I've seen in the laboratory supply catalogs!

Electric, not electronic - but it works
This electric pipette provides a small amount of control in speed of intake and discharge, and has a gravity discharge (nice to avoid splashing, or when dealing with annoying liquids) but it has not measurement capabilities itself. It’s just an electric version of the standard bulb style pipetter. You still need to watch and press and release the buttons when the measurement you need is achieved. It’s perhaps a little less taxing than a standard pipetter and you can slow the speed of the draw to get fairly precise with your timing, but I don’t think it’s saved time or energy, and it has cost more for not much more functionality. If the buttons were proportional that might actually be useful, but it’s a constant draw or discharge regardless of the pressure used. There’s no tactile feedback either other than the pump turning on and off.The wall mount is adhesive only, no screw hole or bracket. It comes with a few extra filters and the nozzles is stepped conical so it fits a wide variety of pipettes securely.
