The chest it comes in is very sturdy and the instructions are pretty long. Once you get the hang of it though it is a lot of fun.

Got 3 for xmas gifts. It's now May and the kids still have them and still love playing with them. They have held up well.

It's pretty cute! My little brother had one so I had to get one for myself and it is just like a tomagatchi except the animal doesn't expire. It also feels more interactive and like you can actually feel your pet. Super super cute!The only thing that I could comeplain about is that the lights seem like they're flashing at you when your room is dark. It can be a little disorienting. I don't notice this as much when I have the lights on.Otherwise, it's a cute and fun toy!
