Feels and works great.
The knife is nicely made and came very sharp. The size and balance is great for everything an 8" chef's knife is too big for. I'd used it for probably 45 minutes (100's of cuts) before a steel would bite, so it's a hard alloy. Now a few strokes before use and it slices tomatoes easily without smashing them. I'm guessing it will still be a while before it will need honed. A great bargain.

Amazing sharpness
These amazing knives are precision sharp. The blade just easily glides through food items with virtually no effort at all. I originally ordered the longer version and it worked so well, I also bought this smaller paring knife. I hope the sharpness lasts for a long time and that the blades can be sharpened, if necessary down the road. I’ll keep you posted how long they last.

Using it for a short time and I like it.
Using it for a short time and I like it. Good grip and it is still sharp; the steel is good quality, hods its edge longest of my knifes. I may retire some of my older knifes with an upgrade.

One of the better cheap knives I’ve bought.
With so many vine reviews for this knife, I was skeptical, but with the prime day deal I had to try it. The fit and finish is quite good on this knife with the exception of a pretty coarse edge finish, with no real honing. The handle material seems like resin and of decent quality. I managed to get fresh turmeric all over the white handle, and it washed off easily without getting into the pores. The steel is soft and gets dull fairly quickly on hard vegetables like turnips and even hard carrots, but.a quick steeling will get it back cutting again with little effort. I would steel this before every use. The blade material is noticeably thin at the tip, and as a result it is very flexible in the tip; not great for precision cut work. The knife is also slightly handle heavy, so the blade can get away from you if you’re not careful.Overall, for the prime day price, I have no complaints about the knife. I can’t imagine finding a knife this nice in a discount store. For the full price of $29, I would rather just save up an extra $10-20 and get a Chinese made Henkel for the thicker, not as flexible blade.of course that would mean 8” instead of 9” Now, if they could make this knife, with Chinese VG10, a thicker spine in the nose, just a little bit more in the price…I’d be all over it.

Just as good as Wüsthof! Fraction of the price.
Same weight, sharpness, and quality construction as my Wüsthof Gourmet knives but a small fraction of the price. Exceeded my expectations. Better than any Wüsthof Classic collection.

Very large and useful knife.
I bought this knife to cut watermelons. It does just that. It is sharp, but easy to handle. I also purchased a sheath on Amazon for this knife. I definitely would not want this knife unprotected in my knife drawer. I am very pleased with the performance and handling of this knife.

Good Value.
A decent quality German style blade? It's not gonna have the most amazing edge retention but neither is a $70 henckels. Maintain it and this thing will be with you a long time.
