I don't know how many hands or what this thing may have come in contact with before it arrived in a box with another item I ordered, but there is NO WAY I would ever give my dog, or either one of my kids for that matter, an unwrapped edible item. If the makers of this product think it doesn't matter because it's not made for human consumption (if it were, they'd never get away with it), that doesn't say much for their attitude towards dogs. I returned it, and won't buy from a company that has no regard for the safety of my dog (all dogs!) and the unsanitary conditions they sell their products under.

I read a great review of the product in The Whole Dog Journal but when I received the product it didn't look anything like the quality one shown in the magazine. What I received actually looked like the kind of rolls shown that you would not buy.(One that has a nice outer layer but is scrunchd in the center) A good quality U.S. raised cattle roll is made from a single sheet of fresh, thick, natural rawhide which is what I thought I was getting. I do commend the seller for the quick service!

I bought this for my 2 year old mini dachshund. I only give rawhides when they are supervised. He was able to eat this down to a tiny chunk in about 2 hours. In the future, I would buy the next size up, so that it would last longer.

I purchased this item as an add-on to hit the free shipping requirements. Overall a very nice bone that is great quality and my dog loved it! Did not break apart and lasted a few hours for a very aggressive chewer.

Great rawhide for my french bulldog. She loves it, and it's taking her some time to work through it. Happy that it's an American product.
