It also fits easily into a bag, so it’s great for trips. If you’re looking for a smart, simple, replayable game that works for both adults and families, this is a winner. It also makes a great stocking stuffer because it’s small, affordable, and universally fun. Highly recommend if you like games that mix quick thinking, light strategy, and lots of laughs.

This is an excellent game that develops strategy and problem solving skills. My 5 year old granddaughter loves to play this game, and it so exciting to hear her thinking through her next play, deciding which card is the most strategic choice. Two people can play, but you might want to set aside some of the special cards, which can prolong the game. We like to play using only 5 cards, which makes the game go faster. I highly recommend this fame for family game night, because it is a challenge for all ages. Another fun game by the same company is Zippy. Zippy is similar to Spot It, but it much more difficult and fun for ages 4 and up.

Overlap is a great strategy game that is fun for both kids and adults! This game is for two players or more, which is great because we are always looking for more two player games to keep at home. This game felt really unique compared to most of the card games we already had, I like that there can be some strategy to it and the grids on the cards are different to any game we've ever owned. It's pretty easy to learn and honestly can get pretty interesting regardless of the number of players! We had a lot of fun playing it and will continue to enjoy this on game nights!

Overlap is a fast-paced and easy-to-learn game for two or more players. Although it’s a strategically based game, drawing wild cards and cards with fewer colored rectangles can give you an advantage. However, due to its simplicity, players might get bored after a few rounds and want to play something else. Overall, I highly recommend this creative game.

Took this to my over 60 game group and every single person gave it 5 stars....that rarely happens, there's usually always one or two who aren't crazy about each game. The concept of "overlap" took us a while to get with the over 70's taking maybe taking a full round to grasp. But once we got it, it was great fun with some decent amount of brain exercise as well. Then add in the special cards and it became quite a fun game. The gameplay goes like this....You get 7 cards with various combinations of colored squares. You have to think abstractically as you can play your cards in two directions by turning them around to avoid an overlap. For every color square you cover, you draw a card. But then to mix it up there's reverse player direction cards like in Uno, wild cards, penalty cards, etc.First one out of cards wins. Our group usually plays a single game once then moves on to a different game. This was so enjoyable we played it three times in a row. We were all seniors ranging from 61-79 the day we played it. But it's family friendly and will work for all ages imho. Nothing to assemble, quality cards thick and coated so drink spills can be wiped off.

the cards are really sturdy, and pleasing to the eye! me and my fiance loved it :) it took a couple reads through the instructions to understand them, but overall the game is pretty simple.

The concept of the hand is simple, but both luck and strategy are needed to win. It’s a fun game for even two players. It’s easy to learn and great for families. Simple enough for kids and fun for adults who might be more strategic.

Very fun game. We tried it out with our extended family this weekend and absolutely loved it. It is easy once you learn it and has a good pace. For those who love strategy. This is the game for you!
