This pony extension is what I would consider "good" even though I'm not happy with the color (14" chestnut brown with blonde highlights). The color has what I would consider "clown red" highlights in it that are described as blonde. I can't look past that. It's just silly looking. The chestnut brown is darker than other chestnut browns I've ordered, but that I can look past and it does blend with my brown even though it's really too dark.Other than that, the pony is very full and also very lightweight, especially considering how full it is. It was easy to install and it came with full instructions on how to install it as well as how to care for and wash the hair. It looks nice and I'd be happy if it weren't for the color. Also worth mentioning, it may be because it is new but it is really shedding a lot. I know some shedding is normal when they come new, but this is much more than normal. However, there is so much hair I'm not sure it's too big of an issue.

Hair is good quality but the plastic tightener just slips on the cord and it loosens quickly while wearing it. I tried changing to a different tightener with not much improvement, I believe it’s the elastic cord that doesn’t work well with a plastic tightener.

However, it is perfect match. I love it except I guess I'm the only person so far on the reviews that doesn't understand the directions. I placed the ponytail where it should go, after forming a ponytail with my own hair. Gosh, it would like really nice if I knew what I was doing. I will have to work with this for a lot longer until I figure it out. However, I would recommend as the hair looks really real and is a nice dark brown color and would look great if you can figure out the directions.

At first glance I was happy with how this came out, however with further inspection there are some serious flaws.Color: good and as advertised. Good highlights and depth.Texture: good for synthetic, not shiny at all, looks like real hair and feels soft.Smell: not too bad, tolerable.Length: as described, and it even had some nice layering to give it more body and makes it look fuller.Quality of structure: not good. This is where I’m disappointed. As you can see in my pics, around the inside of the netting it is sewn together poorly and and as I circled you can see that it’s falling apart already and not attached securely. It’s just a matted mess falling out. Then there’s another section that was sewn in the wrong direction so it sticks straight up. Fortunately you probably will not be able to see this while wearing, but I’m really concerned that this hair piece will fall apart quickly.Also, the plastic slider is not tight or secure so it does not hold the rubber bands securely when you tighten it onto your bun. This is a nightmare because you’ll risk this thing just falling off your hair randomly! You’ll have to secure it in some other way.This flaw almost makes this hairpiece pointless.It’s such a shame. This could have been a cute little ponytail but I’m afraid it’s almost unwearable due to the construction failures and cheap plastic mechanism that doesn’t work.It’s also shedding a decent amount.And they included a nonsensical hair tie that looks like it’s meant for a child. Weird. Put more money into making a better product instead of including unnecessary extras. Just my opinion.Well there you have it! For synthetic hair, this pony is pretty good. It's quite thick which is nice, but the drawstring attachment is also pretty thick. Which means that it doesn't look all that "natural" but maybe with a scarf around the base it could look less "faux". The color is really good so I'm going to try and find a way to camouflage the drawstring part.

Fun to wear, easy to attach and color is nice. Also, it's value-priced!
