The Right Way to healing the gut
This book it’s so practical! My son has been on gluten free casein free diet for almost two years but haven’t seen any results but Karen through her book, Naturally Recovering Autism, teaches you step by step guide on how to heal the gut the RIGHT way! Now we are in the path to recovery and I feel much more confident. I will highly recommend it to any Mum whose child it’s on the spectrum.

If this were legitimate, not a scam, all governments would beat a path to her door
I am an autistic adult. I have autistic siblings, a nephew, cousins. You are either born autistic or you’re not, and you will die autistic, as it is a neurodevelopmental difference: our brains are literally wired differently from the start until the end. This author claims all these wild things on her website and on Facebook advertisements. I had a fairly lengthy conversation with her on Facebook, until she blocked me. She claims she cured her son: at most optimistic, he was misdiagnosed as autistic when very young, because the even worse scenario is he is led to believe he’s cured, but has learned to do autistic masking so well that it eventually backfires horribly when demands exceed his capacity, and he is forced into autistic burnout, a very debilitating and even more disabling state of existence, and he’ll be totally lost as to why he’s having such a hard time, and what to do about it to recover. Not recognizing you are autistic can result in a misdiagnosis of depression which, if treated for depression, is exactly *the opposite* of how autistic burnout needs to be treated, and can result in all the nasty side-effects of autistic burnout, including loss of skills, possibly for life. Of course, us autistic individuals already have a suicide rate many times higher than non-autistics. This book and all it claims is not merely nonsensical and invalid, doing what’s claimed actually results in serious harm, in many ways, both psychologically, and also medically otherwise. There is no cure for autism: that would require rewiring the brain, and that can’t be done without killing the person.

lots of resources
The book does a good job of making recommendations for strategies to help your child become healthier through supplements and other strategies. It does a good job of referring to other resources to learn more. It is long so takes a while to read through, but there should be good information about things you have heard or and haven't heard of and might make a difference. I appreciate a natural approach to healing from a condition, and this book is a good resource to learn more about these strategies to maintain and create good health. I have not tried to apply the strategies yet, but it's good to learn what are the recommendations and see what might fit with your situation.
