Great spice.
I used to be able to get Tumeric in my local shop; but they decided to stop selling it. I was looking on Amazon and came across fresh Tumeric. I ordered that and some galanagal.My order came in a few days and I am totally pleased with my purchase. I make my own spice mix and it tastes so amazing. All you need is the Tumeric, Galanagal, chillies (it's up to you the amount of heat you want in it. I use birds' eyes) and Garlic. I would advise wearing gloves while preparing the chillies and the Tumeric; unless you really want to have yellow fingers. Put everything in a food processor and blend them together. It will colour the food processor; but if you wash it at once it won't leave a smell. Once you've done that put the spices into a glass jar; cover with olive oil; make sure that the oil covers the spices (so that the air can't get at the spices. Replace the lid and put it in your fridge and forget it for about four days. Then it's ready for use. Keep topping up the oil to protect the spices.I will be ordering this again. Value for money and a great way to add to anything you any recipe.

This spice is used to treat various conditions such as cancer and pancreatitis but I have found it very difficult to find in my home town, so I was pleased to see that it was available for a reasonable price on Amazon. The spice arrived the very next day, very fresh roots (which is the reason why I shall be ordering again), and they are keeping well in my fridge. I juice around an inch of root every day along with other vegetables and lime, and a bag of these will last me perhaps 3 weeks before I will need to re-order. 5 stars.

Excellent quality turmeric and best value price per gram
Excellent quality turmeric and best value price per gram, bought after reading so many testimonies as to the healthy attributes of turmeric, I simply peel it then put it in a cup with a twist of black pepper before adding boiling water, leaving for few minutes to infuse before drinking, tastes okay and I feel great on it, just be sure to wear latex gloves when handling or you'll be left with orange fingers for days!
