I have oily, acne-prone skin, and while this primer doesn’t keep me matte through the entire summer day, I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my breakouts since switching to it. Lightweight, smooth, and doesn’t clog my pores — worth it for the skin benefits alone!

I choose this primer because the primer I was using had one toxic ingredient and this was recommended as an alternative primer. It works well and the price point is decent.

This is VERY MATTE.I am trying this product to see if it gives my makeup some longer wear time, especially for formal occasions + dancing. My face sweats a lot, which often has my makeup melting away or fading away. I'm not using it to fight oily skin. I'm a dry skin girl, not even combination skin. For any dry skin girls trying this, please prep your skin well before using this product. Otherwise, you will feel dry.

I like this primer but I found it to be a bit sticky and it takes a little while to dry. Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10

Don’t sleep on Neutrogena for cosmetics. This primer is SO good. I purchased in a pinch, and now just don’t see myself going back to a luxury brand. It absorbs quickly, and makes your skin so soft before makeup application. I have combination skin with a little more oil in the t-zone by lunch. With this, my makeup stayed natural and shine-free without looking chalky and dried out matte. The niacinamide really seemed to help with not drying out my skin, while keeping oil at bay. 10/10 recommend.

This is a very strange product that does not work at all. I have used other brand's products and they work well, (Smashbox Photo Finish (pricey), NYX Studio Perfect Photo Loving Primer and Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later (with sunscreen and slight tint)) but this Neutrogena product clumps and "rolls up" when putting on liquid foundation. Nothing to do but wipe it all off and start over without it.

54 years old and love it. Helps with fine lines also. Only need a pea drop for face
