does it really take 2 to 5 months for shipping?

I used prime and it was here within 2 days.

Will this hold my rigid hiking poles on the outside?

There's no designated spot for them, but you could probably attach them to the bungies.

Can I carry a tent with this pack?

Hi There, Great question, yes! You can use the lower exterior compression straps to secure your tent to the outside of the pack. Let me know if you need any further clarification. Your friend Brittany at TETON Sports

Why is the green one more expensive?

Possibly more popular? I do own the green one and it was the cheaper of the bunch when I purchased it. I have also seen the orange and there is no difference between the orange and green.
