A lot bigger than a normal pool donut. Much better quality than the cheap ones at chain stores. My daughter loves it!

Is it necessary? Maybe not. Does it look awesome? YES! Is it fun? A 1000%. We had it for about 3 months now and it stays in the pool most times. We aired it up only once after the initial inflating.
