The Wise Leader

This book gives a perspective on leadership that encourages us to engage life (whether that be leading at the corporate level or being in relationship with neighbors and family) with humility, creativity and in community. It is not a “checklist” of things to do to be wise but rather a compilation of life experiences that increases awareness of the many opportunities we all have to live life more thoughtfully and effectively. “The Wise Leader” is a breath of fresh air in a world of division and power grabbing. My husband and I would highly recommend it. A joyful and thoughtful read.Dianne M

A book titled "The Wise Leader" will require more than theoretical concepts to make its case. Instead, one might expect to find practical guidance, lived stories (personal and encountered), and cross-pollination across disciplines. Chi achieves all of these and more. It is accessible, inspiring, and thought-provoking. I imagine that many readers will enjoy this work personally, but I can easily see this lending itself to substantive conversation by leadership teams.
