Even if it's not the fastest drive on the market, it's still significantly faster than the included drive on the Ally. Replacing the drive was very easy, and the cloud backup process took about 30/40 minutes to reinstall windows.I saw my write speeds more than double after installation. Definitely recommend. It's really nice having my whole library with me on the go.

Purchased and installed the 2T version in a new Surface Pro 9 with zero issues! Had read reports of certain drives having compatibility problems with the newer Surface and after researching a few specific specs I went with the Adata drive. Always have had great luck with Adata. I simply cloned the original drive to the new one and then installed it. Nothing more needed to be done... just turn it on and everything was just as it was on the original drive... partitions, data, applications and configurations. Did not have to set the drive as the primary boot device either.. it was literally plug and play.

After I cloned original 256GB NVMe to this 2TB drive my 256GB Surface Pro 9 purchased on eBay, now it is 2TB. The system - Windows 11 Pro is working without problem, and I'm happy with the purchase. I did not measure write/read speed before and after upgrade, but I would say that it is now about the same if not faster.
