Monikers: The Shut Up & Sit Down Nonsense Box

I don't buy games very often. My brother in law brought this to a family event. We split the room in 2 teams and had a blast! We have gotten together since 3X (whole family) just to play it! My kids are 25, 23, 21 & 18...my siblings and their spouses are all 40 somethings :) my parents are in there late 60's. All cards have a word/words/phrase and description/definition of the word.1st Round= Card holder can say whatever they want2nd Round=Card holder can say a one word clue3rd Round=Card holder acts (charades)We have also purchased a few expansion cards packs so we can keep the game fresh.Super Fun! Well worth the hours & hours of entertaining family time!

Monikers remains my favorite party game. Great for mixed groups, as it gets people interacting and getting to know each other quickly. The explanations on each card keep people from getting frustrated, and the expansions keep the game fresh for the friends who insist on playing every time they come over.While Cards Against Humanity gets played until everyone at the table is half on their phones, Monikers gets played until people have to go home. My primary suggestion for any type of game.

This is the best party game for long time friends. Along with the base game, Monikers has already spawned many new inside jokes with my best friends. Keep up the great work!

Such a great game - this is only an expansion pack but can be played without the larger card deck version. You go through the cards pretty quickly but its great fun for all age groups!

My son played this at a friends, and is now a big fan. Kind of like Taboo + charades. Guess the weird word on the card... and the rules of what you can do changes each round. First round say anything. Second round a word, third round Charades style. Pretty funny.

Monikers is a very fun party game. Some of the cards are over the top so you will find you need to remove some as you simply would never say or act out such a statement, comment or thing. That being said the rest of the cards force you to be very creative and is a great memory boosting game.

This is a great game, I’ve played Time’s Up before and it’s the same thing. It’s not particularly family friendly but there’s enough cards in it where it can be. I’m giving it 4 stars because some of the cards are so out there it would be impossible to get someone to guess it.

I've played this a few times with friends, and it's a blast. Also extremely compact, which is a huge plus; you can bring them out easily any time you're heading out to meet friends. Shut up and sit down are also a great group to check out on youtube, by the way!
