Tron Legacy: Translucence

I found this record in my record shop and my heart stopped i was so excited! tron legacy?/ yes! i want this. I excitedly scurried up to the counter and purchased this wonderful looking data disc hurried my girlfriend out of the store and rushed home to slap her down on the ol turn table. This record contains four of the songs from the soundtrack for the movie, derezzed the popular single and tron legacy on side one side two has end of the line and castor. The music is great, brings me right back into the theater watching our star protagonist thug it out in Zeus's tower. that is what i love about it and the look is what got me so excited about it enough to buy it on the spot however they did a horrible job with it. When you put the needle over the edge of the record and put it down it slides all the way to where the music starts and slams! jumping over the first three measures of the song. Also when it finishes the second song on the side it continues to spin just playing soft static...which it is doing now as i type. the middle of the record looks like its been ground out because its rough like where a machine would hold it and there is a air bubble somewhere in the middle of the second track which doesn't make it skip but worries me none the less. Not to say i was totally displeased with my purchase i still get to listen to some of daft punks greatest works on vinyl and as a novelty item it cant be matched...however i think im going to be more pleased with the full album on just plain black vinyl....now to make that stupid static stop...
