A worthy read...
Another excellent tome from Ken Ellis.I have most of the previous volumes of this great work - no wonder it is a bi-yearly issue with the sheer amount of research it must require.A good one to take with you if you are on a trip somewhere near an old airfield - you might just discover a lost aviation relic!Great to dip into as well if you are planning to trip to say the RAF Museum at Cosford.Highly recommended.

The latest edition of Wrecks and Relics by the great Ken Ellis is a fascinating county-by-county guide to the surviving aircraft and airframes in and around the British Isles and Britain's overseas bases. The guide is updated every two years and shows exactly where and what is preserved or abandoned, the condition the airframes are in and whethter they are viewable by the general public. The book is worth buying alone for Ken Ellis' witty observations and comments. If you are into aviation heritage then this is a must for your bookshelf.

25th edition...
The holy grail of aircraft enthusiasts! (I've purchased this 2 yearly publication for the past 25+ years) This years edition is no exception to those editions that have preceded -telling all about Britain's aviation past, and where those airframes that have survived are. No aviation buff should ever be without an edition of W & R.

An excellent book to keep close at hand
An excellent book for anyone interested in aviation, more a reference book than a good read. If you want to know where you can see a Hunter or what aircraft the nearest aircraft museum displays this is the book for you. A good index makes navigating the book easy. A brilliant travel companion when visiting different area's of the country
