Osborn's Brain 2nd Edition

Highly recommended !!

Highly recommend this updated version of Dr Osborn's classic text. As with the last edition,it is comprehensive,has an abundance of high quality images and also summary boxes listing salient points of the disease entities. It should be a mandatory read for radiology residents, neuroradiology fellows and diagnostic radiologists interpreting neuro imaging studies. It should be very useful for those in neurosurgery and neurology training,too. Practicing neuroradiologists will also likely learn or relearn a few pearls of knowledge. This is a comprehensive text meant to be read cover to cover and it's an enjoyable read. I received it as a gift and once I started reading it I had a difficult time putting it down. It provides detailed knowledge unlike the limited although useful for beginning radiology residents cursory texts such as The Requisites. It's quite thorough ,detailed,and well organized in the way that we all have come to expect from Dr Osborn's works. It's an excellent review text for the Neuroradiology subspecialty exam.

I tried to download this ebook on kindle several times, hoping the images would turn out okay. They appear only in red and blue! I don't know if the publisher or Kindle is aware of the problem and issue an updated kindle version. For now the images are non diagnostic and useless.

Can not images.everything red and blue. Please help.total waste of 236$

Besser als erwartet

Costly for a single volume book but once you start reading it you'll realise it's worth. No other radiology textbook teaches you how to approach a pathology in the manner this book does. It's like being in a classroom. Beautiful illustrations and simple language makes learning radiology enjoyable.
