Permanent Fastener
I discovered that these fasteners are the most sturdy way to build short of screws. I tried to pull a piece of plywood off of the side of my frame after putting a couple of these in and discovered how fantastically effective they are! I chose the ring shank for that attribute and I chose hot galvanized to ensure they would never corrode. They feed perfectly and drive consistently with my Numax Nail Gun. Great quality. I just bought two more boxes of them.

Spoke to manufacturer - they are indeed hot dipped galvanized
I was concerned when I received these nails that they were not HDG. As others have mentioned, the shanks are shiny, except for about 3/8" at the head. So, I called the manufacturer and spoke with Dan, who explained that there are two processes of hot dipping: after the fastener is formed and of the wire before forming the nail. He told me that these nails are the latter, and are indeed certified for both outdoor use and use with treated lumber. He also mentioned that the colored coatings on the nails are for ease of driving--they heat up and act as a lubricant.I haven't used them for my project yet, but feel confident they will last.

Great Air Tool Nail for treated Lumber
If you are working with treated lumber, these nails are the best. They worked flawlessly in my Porter Cable framing gun when we just replaced roofing trusses and cross bracing and are worth the extra dollars if the wood is exposed, or could be exposed to any elements. Will definitely buy more just to keep on hand.

Worked well for joining bottom-plate
Bought these to use for 2x4 fraiming in pressure-treated lumber, with a "NuMax SFR2190 21 Degree Framing Nailer" also purchased on Amazon. Mostly used for joining pressure-treated bottom plate to wall-studs.Everything worked well. No jams or broken nails. At least 400 of the 500 nails from this pack have been used so far.Although, only time will tell if the nails themselves hold up to the elements.----Alan S.

Good Stuff, good hold.
I buy these for my father as he has the gun and I have the account, but judging by how quickly he goes through them and how many more projects he is coming up with to use these on, I would say that work really well. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price.

These are not hot dipped, what you see is not what you get.
I bought a box of these nails because they are advertised and shown in the photo as hot dipped, they are not! The nails delivered are electro-plated. When the nails arrived I thought the manufacture put the wrong nails in the box so I re-ordered, The next box arrived exactly the same. I called B&C Eagle to find out what gives? and they said they didn't use a hot dip process to galvanize their nails. This is clearly a case of false advertising. I ended up using both boxes of nails because I couldn't wait any longer.
