These figures were a blast to paint. As of this post I still have 4 more sculpts to knock out.The "Aliens" could easily be used as Cthulhu creatures, Mutants or Dungeon & Dragons monsters.The Humans are larger than 28mm. However, these could easily be used for a home brew games.Characters have mix of 50s to 60s vibe...could also double as a Fallout alternative?Painting was simple! But you will need to do some work on the mold lines and be sure to wash the plastic figures before giving them a coat of primer. Once you've added a wash you'll be amaze at all the detail the pops out.Do yourself a favor and pick up a tube of these.

I've been a fan of SCS Direct's plastic figure sets for a couple of years now. These figures are about the size of standard plastic soldiers and feature several creative sculpts. Instead of simply using the little grey men archetype, these aliens are varied and sport many unique designs. Similarly, the humans aren't bland themselves. The civilians come in both frightened and fierce varieties, making them widely usable for any number of horrible circumstances. The quality of these figures is pretty decent, overall. Each figure is well detailed and has no trouble standing up, though it's normal SCS fare for a few figures to have imperfections such as being warped slightly or having a piece or two missing. This set featured little of these errors.

Moon battles for days, aliens are more susceptible to injury, human are a bit wobbly but they both a definitively make for a lot of fun.

They paint up real nice!These are my four favorite sculpts. So very alien.I use them with Table-top Role-playing games in 15mm (also pictured).They are tons of fun!

I freaking love this set. For the price I was expecting junk quality figures, but what I got was actually really nice for what they are for.There aren't exactly high quality figures that you'd get when paying $10 for a single mini, but they are nice solid durable resin feeling figures with really nice detail. Well worth it and I'll probably buy their other sets, just to have a variety of figures for different gaming situations.

The figures were sturdy, good softish plastic, and a lot of them for the price. No fault of the merchant......but the tube I received was lacking one of the "monter" poses completely........one would assume that this is just due to "manufacturing difficulties", but still a shame to see........

Giftable?? Is that even a real word :)These are neat monsters and humans straight out of Pleasentville if it was invaded by aliens. Having said that, if you are creative and use your imagination, you can turn these monsters into alien races for sci-fi games. They will have more of a 1960’s feel to them than modern times, so some of the cheese factor will be there, but that’s not alway bad :)The plastic is soft a malleable. So you can alter the figures somewhat.They stand about 2” tall (3-5 cm)
