Works great outdoors!
Very flexible, meaning you should be mounting it to a wall or ceiling directly so it has something keeping it straight. I bought this so I could keep the sun off me when I'm in my hot tub in summer (I love a nice morning hot tub before the day heats up). Worked perfectly! We mounted it to my aluminum gazebo. Track is smooth. Price is great. Husband who mounted it said it was no problem to set up. Just what I needed.
