This is a recommend!
Good product. Rock tumbling grit in general is expensive, and you cannot reuse. This product is inexpensive and gives great polishing results.

Part of the process
Necessary product for polishing rocks. Expensive but necessary in the process. Product is a good size and should last me several months

Good value, open outside.
Great value for step 1 but open the container outside because the bag inside is terribly cheap and was torn and made a mess

Real grit
I made a knife sharpening stone out of it larger than an ordinary brick for machetes using pure cement, grit, and water. It grinds even hard knives quickly. Real SIC

Good value.
This grit was just what I was looking for. I have a bunch of big garnets with poor crystal faces to grind into spherical shapes and it will require multiple runs through my 1 gallon tumbler. This 10 pound lot of grit was priced very well per pound compared to smaller quantities offered by other vendors.
