Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a good stand. I was a little confused putting it together, but its easy once you figure the pieces out.

Easy to assemble and sturdy enough, as long as you put the legs out appropriately. Come with two microphone attachments, one for standard wired microphones and the other is a kind of “chip clip” style that works for thicker wireless microphones. Also includes two clips for keeping a microphone cable close to the stand. Very nice overall.

Heavier pod mics will have a problem due to this stand not being very heavy. It does the job, just be careful.

Low priced, lightweight mic stand...very portable and does what it's supposed to do. Don't expect a heavy duty piece of equipment, this is not it. Treat it gently, don't over tighten any parts, works best if mic is straight up...This is not a boom stand, so you can vear only so much from center before it tips over, but in 90 pct of cases should be enough. If you've been using heavy duty booms for decades like I have, you'll know how many times the skin on your fingers will get caught in sliding parts...very painful. This won't happen with this product. Comes with its own small carrying bag. Again, it's portability is great especially when your bringing guitar stands, music stands and other equipment. I'm very satisfied.

Steady, lightweight, compact and easy to assemble... sadly, the microphone clip broke the first time being used... thankfully there are 2 .. worth the price
