HIC Kitchen Silicone Duck Ice Cube Tray, Chocolate Candy Baking Craft Mold, Non-Stick, Heat-Resistant, Makes 10 Cubes

Perfect size for my mermaid soap embeds! I like this mold because is super thick and there’s no risk of the tail breaking (it happened to me with another mermaid tail mold I bought) but this one is just perfect!

This makes really adorable mermaid tails. One thing that was weird is that we made ice cubes at first with it and it gave them a strong chemical taste. I washed it thoroughly after that and it seemed to go away. These are very thick so you could easily use it for soaps or resin projects. You can see the difference in the picture in the thickness from the one in the front is a different silicone and the rest are from this one.

This mold produces perfect little penguins. The ice cubes are darling, but I also use them to make penguin mints and little cakes, which I decorate with royal frosting. The little cakes make charming decorations for slices of sheet cake, and the mints are nifty cookie toppers, as well as a nice addition to a candy tray. The buyer should note the small size of the tray. (It is listed in the product description). These are little guys. The tray is smaller than a regular Ice cube tray. If you are not accustomed to using silicon trays, they are very flexible, so you will want to put a tray under them wen moving the filled trays to the freezer or oven. Have fun with them.

This product was deep enough that the ice was easy to remove

I bought this intending to use it to make soy wax molds and was really impressed with how well it worked. Its super easy to flip out the molds and I had pretty much no issue with breakage as long as I did it gently. Even the breaks and feet of the penguin were still intact. Id definitely recommend.

Each cube is very small, hard to fill, hard to get out.

My little 2 year old toddler loves ducks! This is the perfect item to create cute arts and crafts with her.We've made cold ice cubes and baked colorful crayons in this awesome silicone mould, works perfectly. Arrived much sooner than scheduled, super happy about that. Would definitely buy again.

I actually bought these to use as embeds for my homemade soap making. The molds are A LOT smaller than I expected, but for individual soap embeds they were fine. Made of ok quality material, a bit on the thin side. . I was able to unmold the little ducks quite easily and without any issue.Pro:Easy to fill and unmoldCon:?SMALL - The entire try as well as each individual reservoir is tiny (Even for ice cubes I would imagine that they are on the small side)

Ducks don't necessarily float upside right... i think with some crativity they could of made a whole duck instead of a half duck or at least mirrored each side so you could stick two halves together...We where going for rubber duckies and what we got we half ducks next time i will look closer at the picture.That said it did make ice cubes in the shape of a ducks and there was relatively good detail on the inside. The ice cubes where easy to remove form the tray.They are smaller than you think buy an extra one to expedite the process

I bought this for making chocolates and it works great. The chocolates pop out easily once set and I can use it several times during the same batch since the chocolate doesn't stick. I also love that I can tell if I've properly coated it with chocolate before filling - so many molds are brown which makes it harder to tell.

I found this item too soft, the water goes everywhere and it barely stays in the shapes of the tray. Also I find the shapes too small for ice, you almost need the entire tray for one glass... It's still alright for chocolate molding

The fine details on the ducks are somewhat problematic when making bath fizzies and lotion bars as both the beak and tail tend to break off when unloading the product. otherwise the product works as advertised.

The ice cubes that come out are really quite small, although the shapes are very cute. The tray being flexible is good for popping out the cubes, but it does make spillage quite a common occurrence when trying to move it into the freezer.
