Digital Maestro's Analysis: Yamaha L200B Stand for P225B
TL;DR: A robust, elegant stand perfectly tailored for the P225B, enhancing the playing experience with its ergonomic design and sleek aesthetic. Minor quibbles with leveling and music rest prevent a perfect score.Technical Precision: The L200B's particleboard construction offers commendable sturdiness. Its dimensions (52"W x 29"H x 20"D) flawlessly complement the P225B, ensuring a stable platform and optimal playing posture. Assembly is straightforward, save for a slight hitch with the music rest attachment.Performance & Playability: Yamaha delivers on ergonomic excellence. The stand positions the keyboard at the ideal height, eliminating wobble and minimizing fatigue. Integrated cable clips maintain a clean aesthetic. The sleek black finish adds a touch of sophistication to any home studio or living space.Areas for Refinement: The lack of adjustable leveling feet presents a minor challenge on uneven surfaces. Additionally, the music rest's range of motion could be more versatile for diverse playing styles.Overall Impression: For P225B owners seeking a dedicated stand, the L200B is a top contender. Its robust construction, ergonomic design, and elegant aesthetics create an inspiring platform for focused practice and performance. While the absence of leveling feet and a limited music rest prevent a flawless rating, they are minor shortcomings in an otherwise stellar offering.

Just Like The Real Thing
I got the Yamaha P-225 and really liked it. The keys feel super close to a real piano, and the sound is rich and clear. It’s lightweight and easy to move, plus the controls are simple to use. No Bluetooth, but USB/MIDI works fine. Not a ton of extra sounds, but if you want a digital piano that feels and sounds like a grand piano and is great for the money, look no further, this is a solid pick.

Great design. Good quality Easy to assemble
Usually things of this nature are difficult to assemble and take multiple hands to hold things together. This was not the case with this piano stand. The instructions were printed LARGE and relatively easy to understand with both pictures and text. Once I had the hardware all laid out it was easy to see how things went together. The hardest thing is often how to put the cross bracing between the ends without another person. I was able to do this easily by myself and did the whole thing in about 15 minutes. I had previously constructed a stand for a Williams piano and that took over 30 minutes with two other people helping.Yamaha L-200 has heavy, high quality parts with rounded finished edges. Unlike a lot of other stands this has a metal crossbar that sits under the piano for support. I have only one very minor beef/suggestion, which in no way reflects negatively on the piano or stand:IF ONLY THE SCREWS SECURING THE PIANO TO THE STAND WERE KNURLED BOLTS TO EASILY AND QUICKLY UNSCREW so that the piano could be quickly removed from the stand for location work it would be very cool. My previous Williams Allegro III had that feature and that made it easy to remove and transport when needed. The P-225 is lightweight and perfect for location work, so one might choose an X or Z stand which is ugly in a home where just changing screws would make it perfect. Yamaha- are you listening?

Good stand, parts need to be labeled
This is a good stand and pretty easy to put together ;however, Yamaha needs to better label the pieces. It took some problem solving to figure out what was what.

I'm a 71-YO female and I set this up and put my new digital piano on it myself! EASY!
The instructions says it takes 2 people to assemble this and to put the digital piano on it. I live alone, and I'm used to doing things myself, so I tried it myself. No problem whatsoever. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble the the stand; the digital piano was lightweight, and I was able to easily place it in the stand and attach the piano to the stand. It's beautiful; I love the sleek design.

This is quite well made. It assembled quickly and easily. It fit the keyboard well. It is far more stable than I thought it would be.

Much higher quality than expected
From the product photos, I expected this digital piano stand to be about the same quality as any other ready-to-assemble shelf or cabinet you might buy. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this product. The black laminate veneer on the pieces has a luxe, textured, matte surface, and is expertly applied. The MDF core is dyed black to match, which is going above and beyond. The hardware was also much more robust than I expected, with a fine finish, as well. The clean design of the stand looks great, and its sturdy construction instills confidence that my digital piano is safe from damage.
