Works great. Solid performance and doesn't rely on an internet connection.
Don't often write reviews but the current ones on Amazon paint this in too negative a light. This is a fantastic piece of kit and has worked without failing for last 12 months.Works with Sonoff Zigbee devices of which there are many, eg ZBMINIL2 behind light switches lets you automate no-neutral switches in the UK. Easy to group plugs and switches together for whole room automation. All my devices paired first time.Recent updates have added compatibility with other brands, such as Ikea remote plugs and Hue kit. Active discussion forum. There's a list of compatible Zigbee / Matter devices online if you look.Doesn't need internet to work which is a plus (robust, good privacy, fast) and most of the devices act as repeaters so you only need 1 main router box. It's possible to integrate with Alexa or Google Home using Matter but I've not tried. After the initial setup, it's been hassle free and I'd happily buy it again if I was starting over.(Although I might be tempted by Home Assistant on a RaspberryPi but that's a lot more effort)

It's for you only when you know the stuff
Although I do quite well with IT, I couldn't cope with it. Made at a good level, but the configuration could be more intuitive. I usually do fine with IT stuff, but this one was tough for me. It’s good, but the setup could be easier to use.

Poor user experience - returned
This device had a lot of promise but failed to deliver. I bought on Prime day along with sensors for a home automation project but unbelievably this device failed to pair with 3 of the 6 sensors I purchased even though they were Zigbee 3 from the same manufacturer (Sonoff) and listed as compatible. If the hub won’t pair with Sonoff devices what hope does it have to pair with devices from 3rd party manufacturers. I upgraded firmware, you have to create a ewelink account before you can even update the device, also did a factory reset. Contacting tech support was a slow process I would get a response once per day regardless of how quickly or when I contacted them with unhelpful and banal troubleshooting suggestions. In response, it was as if they timed their response to avoid dialogue. The one temperature sensor I was able to pair set itself in Fahrenheit on the dashboard and despite following the change procedure would not display in Centigrade - the LCD display of the sensor itself was in Centigrade. A very disappointing experience so will be avoiding Sonoff devices in future.

Not Alexa friendly
This is a great product, as long as you do not want to use alexa to control your stuff.. Because it what to be Lan based and not in the cloud, it has not put any provision for it to integrate with Alexa. This is a shame and almost turns it into a paper weight.

Terrible product integration
Having a few different Zigbee devices from different manufacturers with the majority being Sonoff, bought this to have a Hub that would allow local rules to be set for when the internet is unavailable,The setup process is straightforward, added the eWelink account, discovered all the devices, and added Alexa. The Alexa doesn't see the devices via the Hub. This was the biggest show stopper as I cannot have routines configured for wireless based devices using the sensor data retrieved from this hub.The Zigbee sensors also update very, and I mean very, slowly - a temperature sensor shows changes after a few minutes (similar changes are instant through a hub from another manufacturer).Given the price tag, and the advertised features that don't work, this product is basically an expensive paperweight.

OMFG! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
I have literally been resetting, pairing, resetting for nearly 5 hours now and the hub just cannot find anything. The interface feels really under developed which makes me think they’ve taken this to market way too early because it’s nowhere near fit for purpose yet. The idea and concept is great, but it’s a way off being ready for every day use, that’s for sure. Sorry Amazon, it’s on its way back to you.
