This is a wonderful product. For years I have been waking up every half hour too hot to sleep, and having to turn the pillow over countless times per night to cool off. This really stays lovely and cool for much longer than an ordinary pillow, and has to be re-positioned very few times. I'm sleeping for much longer periods of time now, and feel the better for it. I like the fact that it has its own pillowslip, which washes well and fits perfectly. Superb.

With the recent hot weather I was having trouble falling asleep. I decided to get one of these to try. Price wise it's a little more expensive than some of the others available bit the reviews seemed good. Having tried it for several nights here is what I think.ProsLarge size, fills most of the pillow area.Comes with a good coverDefinitely keeps you cool for several hoursNot too noticeable but you can tell it's thereConsLasts about 3-4 hours then it just doesn't work, all the heat transfers into the product and it just doesn't dissapate any more.To be honest from what I can tell 3-4 hours is pretty good for one of these type of pillows. I usually just turn my pillow over after this and it's the middle of the night and cooler anyway.Overall worth a try, I run very hot so the product may last the full night if you are not too warm.

Not quite what I expected to be honest. Whilst it’s made of gel and it’s certainly cool (I fact so cool I got a headache!) it’s very heavy and solid so I found it made the pillow incredibly uncomfortable. I ended up putting it under my pillow and just putting my hands on it to cool down as and when I needed it. Good size though and covers the whole pillow area

It's a nice size and I think I'm getting more sleep as my head is not so hot. Doesn't last all night so I have to take it out about 5 in the morning or my head gets hot again. It's certainly worth a try if you have a hot head as it's certainly cold. It moves about in the pillow case so I just sleep directly on it.

I thought I was done with menopausal symptoms, but nature decided it wasn't over. Burning legs became the bane of my life. This cooling pillow saved my sanity. Absolutely fantastic product. Immediate relief from burning sensation when placed under my calves. So good in fact that I bought a second one. Placing one underneath and one on top of my calves, instant relief. I actually get to sleep under the duvet now. Highly recommended for menopausal burning leg symptoms. FANTASTIC

Rather disappointed with this. It simply doesnt stay cool long enough. 30 minutes at most. And then you're just as effective swapping your other pillows about to get a cooler effect.Whilst it looks good quality and certainly comfortable enough to lie on, it doesn't really do what I expected it to. They say its big enough to move your head into different positions to maintain cooling but they must be talking about people with tiny heads. Also If you move too much, it wrinkles and its messy.I wouldn't recommend this.

I am finding my sandman really good and my sleeping pattern has significantly improved since I have started using it. It is particularly good to have it during this current warm spell of weather. I always use it going to sleep and usually move it aside at some point to have it available and cool when I wake due to heat and it enables me to go back to sleep immediately. It is very comforting when you wake up very warm to be able to put your head on the cool sandman and cool your body down.
