My dogs neuter didn’t heal as smoothly as usual and he was beating up my walls with the regular cone. After it finally started looking better, I switched to this cone since he had to wear one 24/7 because he wouldn’t leave the wound alone.If you have a dog trying to chew or scratch their incision, I wouldn’t recommend this at first. I have a large, mixes dog who is fairly long bodied and a long nose. He was able to reach around and use this cone to rub it against his incision, so I stuck with the plastic at first since it had a smooth finish. This cone is very soft and flexible so he found ways around it. BUT after the initial healing began, this was great to switch over to.

My dog had a spot on her ear removed and needed this for almost 2 week. She did not mind it at all. I would roll it back for her to eat and never made a mess. She was very comfortable in it.

My dog has "acne" on his paw and sometimes will continuously lick the area. I had a plastic one long ago, but don't know where it went. I bought this as a replacement, but the velcro is really LOUD when taking it off, so I've been pulling it off his head. Dogs hearing is very sensitive, so I think it's loud, you can imagine how loud it is when you are remomving it. I keep it loose, so I can just pull it off his head. He doesn't try to remove it. He just sits in front of me until I give in and remove it. I keep it on the floor when not in use, so that I can pick it up and show it to him as a reminder that I will put it on him if he doesn't stop licking his paw. Once my dog fell asleep next to the cone. His fur got stuck on the velcro and he ended up dragging it around. It's a good thing I was home to remove it. So, for long haired dogs, you have to be mindful of the fur. The velcro is a fur magnet and the velcro is deafening.

I measured my dog's neck, and the medium was still almost too big. While I really liked how you could fold part back, so dogs can eat or drink and still have their ears covered, my dog shook her head so much, that it was constantly spinning around. If I didn't fix it quickly enough, it would get soaked in the water bowl. Overall, it wasn't a useful purchase.

We bought it so our dog would not lick a wound on his front paw. It is working great. I love that it is made out of cloth and you can fold it down so he can eat and drink water.

I have a very tiny dog. This collar is waaaay to big, even though I measured correctly. I need to return, so now Amazon sez to late to return. Seriously? Maybe you need to contact your suppliers to put better sizing. I know this stuff comes from China or some other foreign country, but not to be able to return this is NOT ACCEPTABLE, even though package has not been opened.

Yeah the Velcro makes noise when taking it off, but it’s not a deal breaker in fact with that and the clips it makes it durable and last longer overall. I bought another material cone on here prior to this one and the Velcro didn’t hold up, my dog would shake and the cone would start coming off. Also, my small dog has anxiety so sometimes she licks the cone like crazy and this material holds up and dries easily compared to the other one we had. I’m buying this one again soon!

You shouldn’t have illusions that your dog will enjoy any collar. But finally finding a soft option that keeps him from being able to gnaw on his healing paw is such a relief! It does exactly what it promises and it’s good quality. Now we just need him to heal so we can say buh bye to the need for him to wear it.

This collar is exactly what we were looking for .It’s very easy to put on , the 2 clasps hold well and the Velcro is strong .The fact that it’s soft and rolls down makes it comfortable and yet prevents licking .Definitely a good purchase .

Used on Morkie 4.1 kg fits beautifully. Easy to roll back and so dog can eat and drink properly. Much more comfortable than the hard plastic ones highly recommend.

My dogs size was in the middle of two sizes so I opted for the larger one. The actual product was way too big and heavy for him.The material is very thick which can be useful for larger dogs but wasn’t suitable for my senior 15lb dog.The Velcro and buckles are also VERY loud and can make removing the cone difficult without spooking some dogs. The buckles also make the cone difficult to fold in the way that the photos show.

My dog hated it so I have to send it back and I dont know how can you help me
