Q: Is the hose clear under the insulated cover? I want to remove the cover to make sure the straw doesn't get moldy

I wouldn’t take the cover off it protects to hose and hose ends. The hose is clear and I’ve never had mine get molding and I don’t aloes empty it.

Q: How tall is the bladder? I'm looking for a bladder for my Condor tidepool.

When full the dimensions are 16" tall, 5" wide, 3.7" thick. When empty 17" tall 8" wide, 1" thick. So it can be anywhere between those numbers depending on how fill you fill it

Q: does this come with the storm valve or helix?

Storm Valve, and if I remember correctly it is a 3 Liter bladder not a 2 like it says in the description. (the picture shows a 3). Also yes it is a fully quick disconnect hose (both ends)
