Fabulous boots
Work really well and stay in place well. They are durable and true to size. My horse had really bad hock sores and I could not find any boots that would stay on . I tried many brands including hock boot ultra shield which area supposed to be the best. They did not stay on and also the stitching falling apart. Highly recommend these boots .

Tends to slip off the hock
I purchased these boots in the size Medium for my standard size Quarter Horse because she kept hurting herself by rubbing the same spot on her hock and made a huge gash. I would take care of the wound, put medicine on it, vet wrap it, and then put the hock boot over to prevent her from rubbing and injuring herself again. This boot does tend to slip and slide off during the day (even with vet wrap), and not stay in the correct place. I obviously didn't want to make it too tight and cut off her circulation, but I tried to make it a snug fit, but it still continued to slip off. :(

Works well for us
Easy to put on. I worked my horse with this on and ran him around and stayed on. Definitely made my 20yo fox trotter feel better.

Poor fit
The bottom Velcro straps don’t stay on, the ridge on the upper inside of the boot rub and caused swelling and rubbing, so the protection I was looking for caused an even worse problem! My vet even showed us how snug they needed to be.

Not great
These do not seem to fit any horse. If you get them right enough to stay on they can cause pressure sores.
