I absolutely love 3D, and when I saw the ad for the Lume Pad 2, I knew I had to jump on that train. I bought it a couple of weeks later, and WOW! My first impressions of the glasses-free lightfield display: gobsmacked. The 3D is adjustable, and when at the right angle, it looks like a hologram projector!The functionality is great! Not only does it function as a 3D tablet, but it has full access to the Google play store and can run in 2D as well. It has a flagship (for 2020) Snapdragon 888 chip and it flies through everything I throw at it.It has a 120hz display, so the interface feels snappy and keeps up with what I want to use it for.My favorite thing to do on it is 3D camera photography, 3D modeling and converting 2D YouTube videos to 3D with AI using LeiaTube. The conversion and the 3D depth added to videos is so convincing that I forget that the YouTube videos were recorded in 2D in the first place.As for value for money, the Lume Pad 2 originally sold for $1,200 new, and now it's $500. If you are on the fence on purchasing this tablet, DO IT. Don't let the negative reviews get you confused. The 3D is great and it has a very premium chassis with great speakers as well that support Dolby Atmos. It is not gimmicky, and deserves to be mainstream even though VR has taken over the market in the 3D segment.This tablet has a history of selling out on Amazon so I'd advise potential buyers to purchase it while it is significantly less expensive than the original MSRP. You never know when it's too late to buy, and such a great tablet needs recognition where it is due.Also, support Leia as well. The company has removed 2 apps from the Leia app store: LeiaFlix and Leia Dream. If enough people support them, they might bring back apps that they took away and even make more because of popular demand.If you want this technology to improve and Leia to continue making tablets (a potential Lume Pad 3), then buying this tablet to support the company will surely help them out.If you are on the fence about this,GO FOR IT. If you love glasses-free 3D, get it. You will not be dissappointed.

The media could not be loaded. When I first opened this tablet, little did I know that I would be moments away from one of the BEST glasses-free 3D experiences I've ever had since the Nintendo 3DS! With the snappy 120hz refresh rate and Snapdragon processor combined with the respectable battery life held true as advertised, I've never been so pleased with such an amazing device!With the Leia Player app on the tablet, I have been able to convert my 2D photos already taken from my phone and convert them to 3D which has allowed me to relive my memories of loved ones and past vacations like never before as every photo comes to life right before my eyes! This game changing 3D technology allows me to invite my close friends and family to share this AMAZING experience together.Being able to convert any video URLs of 2D videos into 3D has been such a game changer for me as I can now watch my favorite YouTubers and music videos with a more immersive experience like never before!The Leia app store has many fun apps for various 3D entertainment like video games, pc streaming, and movie watching to offer an exhilarating eye-popping experience. One of my favorite apps called Mozaik 3D has been fun and educational as it helps me better visualize the cell structures and various systems of the human body in a way that makes it so much more fun and easier to learn!One thing to note is the tablet tracks a single face only so only one person can see the 3D on the tablet at a time. This has been minor for me and not a big deal as I usually lean over for anyone else to see the 3D visuals. A couple apps have been discontinued (LeiaDream and LeiaFlix) that garner my attention as the Leia company has not had enough support and recognition for this revolutionary technology.Please support Leia as a company so they can continue creating 3D devices to provide more fun and entertaining experiences for everybody.Words cannot begin to describe how pleased I am with this 3D tablet. It exceeds my expectations as there is so much potential with this device that I got beyond the value for my money. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tablet to anybody who is looking for the next revolutionary device that will change the way you admire and share 3D experiences with people. Rest assured, you will not be disappointed!
