If you want an effortless, highly effective way to keep your swimming pool sparkling clean all season long, Clorox Pool&Spa Shock XTRABLUE Plus is an absolute game-changer. It goes way beyond basic pool shock to deliver a true, heavy-duty clarity treatment. Here are the key points that make this swimming pool shock a five-star buy:Fast-Acting 6-in-1 Formula: It doesn't just clear up cloudy, dull water—it actively destroys built-in organic contaminants, eliminates harsh chlorine odors, and targets swimmer oils to vastly improve your pool filter’s overall performance.Elite Algae-Fighting Crystals: It is packed with advanced blue crystals that completely kill and prevent all major forms of pool invaders, including standard green algae, slimy mustard algae, and even stubborn, hard-to-clear black algae.Swim-Ready in Just 15 Minutes: Unlike traditional treatments that force you to stay out of the water for 12 to 24 hours, this highly advanced granular formula dissolves instantly. You can broadcast it straight into the deep end day or night and jump back in to swim just 15 minutes later.Safe for All Surfaces & pH Balanced: It runs completely safe on vinyl liners, plaster, fiberglass, and tile. Best of all, it handles the deep cleaning completely without bleaching your pool liner or throwing off your water's delicate pH levels. No Pre-Mixing Required: You don’t have to deal with messy buckets or pre-dissolving chemicals. Simply open the bag and pour it directly into the pool water with the pump running. It makes maintaining a crystal-clear oasis incredibly simple, especially after heavy pool parties, high temperatures, or severe rainstorms.

It works incredibly fast, especially after heavy rain, a bunch of people have been swimming, or the water is just starting to look a little cloudy or questionable. I love that you don't have to wait forever to use the pool afterward. The fact that it's swim-ready in as little as 15 minutes is a HUGE plus, especially during the summer when telling everyone they can't get in the pool for the rest of the day isn't exactly an easy sell. It's also been great for keeping algae under control. After shocking, the water looks noticeably clearer and brighter, and I haven't had to fight that stubborn green tint nearly as much. The granular formula is easy to use, and having the 12-pack is much more convenient than realizing you're out right when the pool decides to turn cloudy overnight. If you have a pool and want something straightforward that tackles bacteria, algae, and cloudy water without a ton of hassle, this is definitely worth keeping in your pool supplies. It makes maintaining clear, clean-looking water a whole lot easier.

This is the best product for my pool and my time. The EXTRABLUE is great as it works like it says it should. I don't have to purchase a lot of other chemicals, so I am saving money. This helps me get my pool started in the spring and I use it when needed throughout the summer. Due to changing conditions like people, rain, sun, and bugs Clorox Extrableu works fast to clear and sanitize my water.

This stuff is the best if you're a pool owner. Everyone hears the horror stories of owning a pool and the chemical game. I have been a first-time pool owner for two years, and this product is the way to go. I shock once a week and right after a heavy storm or heavy use. Ive never had issues with my water. If its green, Ill add two bags, and in the morning, its crystal clear. Take the stress out of owning a pool and just buy it. Its worth every penny!

I’ve been very happy with this Clorox Pool & Spa Shock. I use it regularly in my above-ground pool, and it does an excellent job keeping the water clean, clear, and properly sanitized. After treatment, the water looks noticeably brighter and clearer, and it helps prevent the cloudy water issues that can happen during hot summer weather. The granules dissolve well, and I appreciate the peace of mind knowing my pool is being properly treated. Maintaining a pool can get expensive and time-consuming, so it’s nice to have a product that works consistently without a lot of hassle. If you’re looking for a reliable pool shock to help maintain sparkling, healthy pool water throughout the season, this is definitely one I would recommend.

We love clorox pool and spa. It helps maintain our pool and keep it healthy and clear. Works wonders in our pool. With kiddos we love that its hard to open but also is swimable quickly. There is a strong odor when pouring it but it is a strong chemical. But works wonders!

Great value, you can smell the chlorine as you dump it in the pool so there is no guessing there, Easy to open, and kept the water clear and 1 pouch was suitable for my above ground 18' pool.

Used weekly and keeps pool water clean and clear. After a recent storm, had no power for 5 days, so no pool pump and it was hot. Water turned green. After 2 consecutive days of shock, water was clean and clear again.
